cool vid! I love Robotech, Macross, Gundam and anything of this genre. I like BSG too, especially the music, but the only thing I don't like about BSG is that there are so few dogfights in comparison to the length of the series :( For a sci-fi war show, BSG seems to focus less on the war than it should. A combination of Robotech's story and BSG's music and concepts into a single series would certainly be something to behold!
Mainly that I have noticed a connection between Battlestar Galactica, Robotech, and Macross. If this song by Jimi Hendrix were used in Robotech The Shadow Chronicles the meaning wouldn't be lost and I think it would be a nice deviation in using this kind of music in Robotech then the standard pop music that is used in Robotech, and Macross. I like the video by the way. :-)
this version of the song ain't bad, and it flows with the video indefinitely. i still prefer bob dylan, but this rendition of the song definitely fits it better.

They should've used this song in that movie but another version.

Why do you think I used the BSG opening song with some Robotech/Macross vids :)
By the way, Thanks

I wouldn't doubt it if the writers of BSG were fans of Robotech and Macross. I noticed some scenes that I knew came from Robotech.

I wouldn't doubt it either

@smcneal057 Well, it may go back to the original Macross writers being fans of the original Battlestar Galactica.
I also noticed some similarities between the Hera arc and Armitage III: Dual Matrix.

@ctraver
Wow...Now why didn't I recognize that before you told me? Armitage being Athena in BSG. How did I not see that? Thank you.

Nah...A Veritech could take out a Viper with no problem.
MPilotVF1V 3 years ago
Yep - but it always begs the question, what would a Viper Veritech be like? 0_0

Hmm...the world may never know (or I can ask a friend of mine who is a CGI artist to help come up with some Ideas)

It almost truely connects to the current series of Battlestar, it deserves an five out of five.

Thanks. I always thought that Robotech and BattleStar had a lot in common.
