Wow, deadlands es mucha cosa, es de las mejores baladas melancolicas que escuché. @Epica124 Not electropop, but commercial pop music...sure it sounds "gothic" but take away the keyboards and generic heavy guitar sounds and you have a pop album with a boring pop vocalist. ToT's first albums, although kinda cheesy, were at least interesting, well thought out, complex in song structure and unique for the time. The most gothic that they ever were was the excellent "Aegis,"Leaves Eyes is crap too, another boring pop band in disguise, I dont want to hear stupid viking love stories

@Epica124 BUT my point is crappy female pop singers in pop bands disguised as metal with plastic pro-tools production and formulaic songwriting; I don't care if Leaves eyes is considered folk, gothic, symphonic whatever, it's pop music with crappy pop vocals (Liv can carry a tune but not a good singer) same as hundreds of other popular "metal" bands regardless of the category people place them in. Nightwish is another story, Tarja is a trained opera singer but the music was sometimes dull imo

i have a friend, he thought that metal singers couldn't sing, then i show him some vids, and he was like WOW!!
