I have never joined an internet dating site. But I do post on message boards for one of my all time favorite bands. The lead singer has gained weight but she still has men that are her fans and love her, even today though she is heavy. I look like this famous singer and the guys on there like me. Can't say that I'm an expert in Internet Dating BUT - in terms of guys, there are three general categories in my book: (1) genuine daters, (2) those who do it for the thrill but will never go through with it, and (3) perverts. @elelkilua - People are just ignorant and read too much garbage magazines and watch too much throw away TV. Size zero has been in the US since I was a teenager (in the '80s!!!). My sister wore that size so it's nothing new. If you're short and thin, you may end up wearing a small size and people are getting ratty about someone who is small or petite when the real issue is the obesity epidemic. It's ridiculous.
