@djgrizzy94 yea just set ur recording to Mono (Left). If that makes any sense. ur voice is a mono instrument, and the mic puts it on the left for a higher quality recording. just do that center wave thing this guys doin in the tutorial and it should all be fine

then you go to amplitude, then go to channel mixer, then you click (both = left), then you click ok.

doubble click on the audio file> effects> enable direct x effects then u should see them in ur plugins if u installed them right

@valdolui01 exactly. All these "studio quality" tutorials they put up completely fucks up your settings and makes it sound worse than imaginable. But the worst thing you can do is record your vocals and a beat at the same time. The other end of the mic isnt actually meant to record. So the beat will sound weak and wont have any bass in it. So if you get descent software that allows you to upload the beat you want to use, and use headphones to monitor and you have a pop filter, u should be good
