ta very much for informing me - i'm gonna look it up on wikipedia. : )

  • Very welcome!

It is traditionally served heated up, and in my opinion the second (I mean millisecond!) it gets cold then its taste drastically changes! Weird but true, lol.

  • is this going to be on tv?

  • It was on tv back in 2004.

  • @XXXTHEKINGXX The special has already been broadcast on television. It aired on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom on the 25th December 2004.

I would love The Simpsons Christmas Message to appear on one of the Simpsons DVD sets, unfortunately I don't think it has been released yet.

Please sign my petition and hopefully the specials will be released. It can be accessed via 'ipetitions', and it's called 'Please Release The Simpsons Documentaries to DVD!!!'.

or GOOGLE search - 'simpsons ipetitions'

  • this is so funny!

  • I LOVE it!

    lol

  • Many thanks. Been trying to find this because Lisa is seen protesting a very worthy cause in this clip. RYDHSYS RAG KERNOW LEMMYN!

  • celticornish - it would be WONDERFUL if Kernow was recognisedc as it's own country. would any other part of the West Country be permitted to join, like Devon or Somerset?

your flag is great. like a b/w negative of the St Georges cross.. : )

  • Kernow's long history is one of independence - history is there to be read, if people are impartial enough to accept that which they don't like or don't 'believe'. Since the Cornish people didn't speak English, their culture/origins are not English. The 'Westcountry' is a term of convenience and generalization. Celtic nations are all righteous in their pursuit of independence: Cornwall is a celtic nation - Devon and Somerset are not.

  • Then sir, i apologies for lumping you all together.

just wondering, Cornish (the language) is now only spoken by about 8000 people - in the event of Cornish independance, would you like to see it given the same status of Welsh?

  • Apologies if I sounded somewhat defensive - I wasn't sure what your tone was, but since you seem to be genuine in your curiosity.... yes - Kernewek (Cornish) is spoken by comparatively few, but many more can speak a little, or are genuinely interested in learning. Language is the greatest point of interest in defending a nation's culture and origins, and many proud Cornish folks who are in-touch with their roots/ancestry are reconnecting.....

  • that's good to hear. are there any Cornish seperatist parties running in next years general election?

  • Mebyon Kernow is the political party campaigning for Cornwall's future, although their stance is driven by a fairly mainstream approach - which tends not to accommodate a more hard-line approach to political justice for the duchy. Communication is the key; many people just don't know that there's any difference between Celtic Cornwall and Anglo Saxon England. A combination of ignorance and arrogance is always at the heart of a true sense of progress for Cornwall.

  • The Cornish flag has old context and meaning, based in long history. I'm unaware of what the St.George's flag means, or how much later it was created than the Cornish flag of St.Piran. That flag is treasured by the English, and they have a right to it.

  • lol......nice one
