  • At the end that would one heck of a stump to remove. :)

  • In fiji iv never seen anybody use a lawn mower. They use a Wiper snipper all the time.

  • I've got the exact same whippy mate..Had it about 2 years now..Been running it on 40:1 TTS and Avgas...Bloody loves it!..Starts first pull everytime, Smells great and Goes hard!...Haha!.

  • Great tips Greg ;) Happy gardening!

  • 2:27...You wouldn't be able to do that hand gesture without a joke on your Mr Stripy Head videos

  • Can you recommend some good poisons for weeds?? I poisoned my weeds and yes, it does kill them... however they grow back twice as fast and twice as strong which means that I have to use a bigger amount of poison to kill them off every time they grow back!!!! Have I mutated these fuckers into some kind of super weed?? I'm afraid that it'll grow tentacles soon and kill us all!!! I just want these fuckers to die!! :(

  • I thought about doing a vid on my backyard mate, but I am way too embarressed, I'd get locked up for neglect, nice new channel mate, good luck with it

  • @gregthegardener...thanks for the info..i guess i'm just not a plant person..haha.. well, then can you tell me a good natural way to keep away ants? I don't like to use chemical sprays i feel sad when they die...:(....i just need a remedy to keep them out of my house .. Thanks!

  • Type casted already, Greg?

  • But Father Greg- is a whipper whacker approved by Jesus??? You didn't mention the Lord. What would Jesus do? Use a whipper snipper, or just snap his fingers and order the garden to fix itself? Please instruct us in the scriptures on this matter!

  • @wordreet 8 inches long.....never mind the strimmer, you'll need a machete!! :p

  • I had a strimmer but managed to break it the very first time I used it! It might have had something to do with the cavalier way I was wanging it around immovable objects in the garden ;) I took it back to the shop and got a full refund!

  • Curses! Now you've reminded me that mine needs cutting. First time since last autumn! LOL! That grass and path are not much less than my entire garden!

    .

Ah, in the UK most people call that a strimmer. I'll definitely use it for the first cut, as the grass is about 8 inches long at the moment.

  • That is a nice garden there, all those plants.

  • Dont be goin cuttin my grass mate!!

  • how did you know that twig had a virus? thats crazy! teach me how to do that :D :)

  • @EQVAY04 Yes that was a proper surprise showing of Greg's knowledge right there wasn't it? I think he was referring to the slightly fat part of the twig. If it had been me, I would have thought, huh, it's got a lump, and chucked it in with the rest. That's another video right there Greg mate.

  • OMG THIS WAS SO HELPFUL!! I LOVE YOU GREGTHEGARDENER

  • ....did I just learn something? From Greg?

But seriously, An inch of grass is a bit much though...

  • I like your hat, cherry pie :) Can you also tell someting about those diseases the roses have on their leaves? I mean, those white spots, I don't know how it's called in English. Oh, and I liked the music :)

  • Good tip, especially for girls like me who don't know anything about mowing/gardens. Ccan you put up a video that shows the best plants to grow indoor that don't attract bugs or allot of bugs.. I've been wanting a nice small plant to start growing inside my dark room, but i don't want it to attract bugs! Thanks!

  • @SuperBianca86 lol, nothing grows in the dark (plant wise)

  • Great video. I know someone who use to make those "weed wacker" things in a factory! She also once worked in a place that made one part of the spice mixture for the secret Kentucky Fried Chicken reciepe. She also once worked for.....

  • I was given a whipper snipper for free...it leaks petrol. Must get that fixed.

  • I think this is a great idea for those with small lawns! Nice one Greggie :)

  • man...her garden looks like a jungle........wot a lot of plants......she must be a big client of yours?

  • great video greg, if you saw my lawn ,you'd have a heart attack.

As far as lawns go, it's the equivelant of stage 4 terminal cancer. I live on a big block renting a bungalow. The home renters do NOT do ANY garden maintenance or lawn mowing. So at least once a month I "cut " the at times knee high grass to give a "normal" appearance.Funny cos, the owner received a letter last week stating the front yard was an eye sore & the grass was not to exceed 10 cm and all edges to be trimmed. No shit.

  • i just let it grow, i gotta get some goats

  • You like to keep your lawn an INCH or more tall? Do you aussies even know what inches are? I don't even think most Americans do. ha!

    Loved the music.

I worked mowing lawns two summers. If I was whipper-snippering (or weed-whacking as we say over here stateside), and the area of lawn was small, I'd just whipper snipper the whole lawn. If you know what you're doing it can be faster than bringing out the mower, especially in confined areas. Good on ya mate!

  • awesome :)

  • is this what you do for a dollar mate

  • @oldsalty65 yes it is :)

  • @gregthegardener my dad use too have one of them whipper snippers with the harness on it that would swing from side to side it was awesome

  • i like this :)

  • Great vid mate - awesome advice :)

  • Traveling all over the country side,Lol! you need an opening theme song Greg!

  • Good one Greg,Spot on. Nice Lady? Job take long? Ha!Ha!Ha!

  • 2:27......greg shows us how big his penis is

  • Greg, do you know a lot about vegetable gardens? I have been considering doing one this year for fresh greens and such.

  • Awesome tips! I especially like the one about the length of the grass. We have the longest grass on the block and the greenest, practically weed free! Now, I know why!! :)

  • whats on your feet Greg?

  • aren't you supposed to do the toads too?

  • \m/

  • i like your serious side.... i love your silly side!!
