Yeah, I used to be extremely good with a Dervish, like taking down entire player teams alone and stuff (though, that was pretty much the plan, me just tank and allies buff me, mostly with HoTs, pvp is easier mentally if you treat it like a mob encounter). Then I quit playing for two years (hey, I'm proud of how good I was, wouldn't you?). Anyway, once I came back my skills and knowledge had rusted away and now I struggle with groups of two or three mobs...Yeah, embarrassing as hell. So I here.

you could consider them a battle mage i guess.

they use scythes, and have lots of prayers.

mysticism, earth prayers, wind prayers, scythe mastery. those are their main attributes.

i would reccomend playing another class though, they take lots of skill and knowledge about the game to play

Dervishes are pretty unique to Guild Wars, its a class with medium armor that uses a scythe and shapeshifts into avatars of the gods of the game.

Dervishes are kinda like a paladin but instead of most of the casting they rely on enchantments and powerful scythe skills to unleash hell upon the unsupecting victems. As for how you get the class you must get Nightfall they are one of the two classes exclusive to that game. For assassin and ritualist you must get Factions. Anyways I hope that was helpful.

dude, to get an elite u need to buy signet of capture. set it in your skillbar then u go to wiki and eksample: assassin elite skills, when u have found the plase of tha boss who get the elite go and kill the boss then u use signet of capture and cap the elite ;)

Been a long time since I did that, but I used a scythe from the collector in Vabbi with a +20% enchantment mod. Than you get:

max dmg (req. 9)

+15% dmg (while enchanted)

Enchantments last 20% longer.

It is perfect for this run.

hes alive cuz he spammed Vow of Silence so enemies cant cast spells on u. and notice how he mostly took on spellcasters (occasionally one or 2 melee) cuz spellcasters do really low dmg if they cant cast

well u dont even need wind prayers here just use mystic vigor which is way better for solo farming i know u used it for running but lol if u use win insingas on evry part of ur body u gonna have shitload of armor so running is not needed. pretty sweet build, ill have to try...but with gwen skills out now id suggest dropping one of the scythe attacks with farmers scythe for a huge dmg output

also for a great green scythe to use id use

Asterius Scythe * Slashing Dmg: 9-41 (Req 9) * Damage +15%^50  * Energy gain on hit +1 * Energy regeneration -1 * Enchantments last 20% longer

its a gwen green and you can probably pick it up for 7-15k

for it to work you need:

runes i have are: major vig, major mysticism, major scyth, minor wind and earth.

for weap i used 15^50, 20/20 +30 hp scythe but i find that a +5 energy, 20% enchants works better.
