  • Du kan ikke bare se på temperaturen. Du må tenke på vinden, og hvor fuktig luften er.

  • @Raglaen

Ja, men dette er en film om et kraftig temperaturfall. ;)

  • Good video! I live in a town called Ipswich in southern England. It's -4 C here now but after watching this vid I feel warm!

  • @givethemachance4once

    -4 C in souther England isn't very common, I think. ;)

Cold weather all over the world this winter.

    It is -30 C where I live, and it's getting colder. :)

I'm starting to doubt global warming. ;)

  • I'm starting to doubt GW as well. But yes, you are right. A typical winter where I live is fairly mild and damp, Usually between 2 to 7 C, but last winter in Ipswich was also below average as it dipped to -11 C.

Seems only yesterday in August when it reached 32 C.

Being outside at about -9 or -10 C is when I start to feel uncomfortable in a coat, but -30 C ! My freezer is warmer!!

What does being outside in -30 or -40C feel like? How do people usually dress in those temperatures?

  • In -30 and -40 C snotty will freeze in your nose when you breathe. It feels as if the jaw shrinks, and you starts losing feeling in your nose after approx. half an hour. After an hour or so you can have signs of frostbite on bare skin when it is -40 C.

Are you going to be out for a long time, you should wear a warm jacket, several layers of socks, mittens, a warm hat and thick pants. Cover the face with a scarf or something. ;)

  • amazing!
