First - This is a great video of a youngish derek.

Second - The song is Afro Blue not Liz Reed

Third - Its not Derek's birthday, its 7-8-79

Fourth - It might be his birthday cause on 6-29-1999 derek was playing with the Allman Brothers Band (It is among my favorite tapes that I own.)
