@Fiftyfiveguy I know you asked this a long time ago and maybe you have your answer by now, but the KP3 is primarily a sampler and effects generator, while this is primarily a synthesizer. There is a lot of crossover between the two models, since the kp3 has some synth stuff in it and the kaossilator pro has some effects in it.
I really love just about every product Korg seems to come up with! This looks awesome! If it's at a reasonable price I am going to have to get one! I am overly impressed simply with what can be done with a regular Kaossilator,but this goes to levels my mind can't even start to grasp! Great!
