is it normal to be stuck in a time where you can't decide what branch you wanna do? cuz thats what im in right now. i can qualify for Navy SEALs since I met the asvab score requirements, but my heart is telling me I belong to the Marine Corps

When you do, you're probably going to lose rank if your an E-5 or higher. (Everyone I know that has done it got bumped down to E-4.) If you're still in the sign-up process and you want to be a SEAL, spare yourself a headache and join the Navy now. Elsewise, go ahead with your Marine aspirations." @mrwarsonperson You are a dumb ass, not every Marine is a rifleman, its a figure of speech. Every Marine has his/her own job to do, but they are still trained to use rifles, just in case they need to go out on patrol etc.

you use the rubber rifle for practicing interior guard and standing front post and for the bayonet course

The crucible used to be during second phase in week 8. Now it's done at the end of recruit training. There is only one week after the crucible now, Marine Week.
