I haven't heard that . If that is in the party platform i want to see it. I would be against ANY federal law supporting ANY specific religeon however, freedom of religeon is not freedom from religeon. There should be limits on the gov. as is specified by the 1st amm. The only party platform that should exist should be the constitution in and of itself.

I'm gonna check it out. I would have a point of contention with the party if that's the case. I believe in individual freedom and civil liberties which would include freedom of religeous expression. i think the gov should make sure there is an atmosphere of religeous tolerance and open expression but not use the couirts to supress this. I'm a die hard bible thumper and proud of it BUT I would stand side by side with the muslin/budist to protect their right of expression also.

It's critical to understand the distinction between a true 'Free Market', and what the media call the 'free market' when they say things like the 'free market failed'. The very thing the government and the Fed most interfered with is exactly what caused our current crises. Too many talking-heads think everything was great, and then banks or Wall Street did something that caused the crises. There's almost no understanding that forcing interest rates down to nothing wasn't a good thing!
