Perhaps Floridians in general, carry greater regard for fellow waterpark waders, than Californians, and impose some measure of bladder restraint,
but its been my experience on each trip to a waterpark (at least three) that the concentrations of chlorine in West coast parks, would imo jeopardize any dolphin swimming in it.
@KYGIRLS3 Not a stupid question. Lots of people have asked. You can't swim in this dolphin tank, but you can go across the street to Discovery Cove (also owned by Sea World) and swim in a dolphin tank, there.
Ok, yes Im kind of self concious when it comes to wearing a bathing suit in public as I let myself go since highschool but least im trying to work on it, and in a place like this? who the fuck cares if your fat or not? Im going there in about 2 1/2 weeks and to hell with everyones opinions on if they think im fat or not, IM going there to have FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hey about the dolphin plunge, is there any water in the slide? and can you breathe? ik stupid question but i'm confused can s omeone explain it to mee???
waited 45 minutes for it and never saw a single fish or dolphin underwater. If you want an excellent water park in florida, go to Wet n Wild, Typhoon Lagoon, Or Blizzard Beach.
lol the same happend to me when I went in July 2008..lol but it was still awesome! At least I got to see the dolphins while sliding AND the 45 minute line went by super-fast because I was watching a dolphin training session the whole time lol.
i have to admit i was kinda disappointed about the lazy river...the advertisements made it look like a tunnel with coral reef fish all around it (kinda like the shark tunnel at seaworld)
@Simplayer1 I know really, sounds like this guy needs to just chill out. I mean, honestly, I let myself go since highschool but Im trying to fix that and be more healthier, and in a place like Aquatica, who the fuck cares if someones fat or not, right? we're all there to have fun, and Im going there in about two weeks and fuck everyone who might think im fat:)
I live 25 minutes from Aquatica the only thing stopping me from going is the embarrassment of my body. I am so pissed about having to face the humiliation of living my live as a 26 year old looser trapped inside a 14 year olds body some please put me out of my misery! =-(
I live in Tampa, so I went like two weeks ago. It was a blast, the only problem was that it was so new that all of the lines were insanely long. On a plus side a lot of the rides were completely original and the dolphins on the Dolphin plunge ride were extremely playful. This park gets a 4.999999/5
There is a TON for a 3 and 6 year old to do. There are two separate children's areas with activities in each that range from approximately the 18 month age range to approximately 10 years old. I was truly shocked how many slides were available to kids of all ages. We take our 2 and 4 year old and they have a blast!
Thanks for posting! The park looks great and this video really shows off the lazy river. I'm working for the park and the landscaping and greenery really are gorgeous. Plus, I love waterslides!

If I had a short vacation in the Central Florida area, which water park is the best to visit? The Disney parks, Wet N' Wild, Aquatica?
quemacha 1 year ago
@quemacha Personally, I prefer Aquatica to all other water parks in Orlando, but Disney's water parks are both very good and a close second.

It would be better if they limited the amount of people that were in the park, to many people in queues is annoying and can get very warm
