@coolguy676 They're both good depending on what kind of sound you want. Electrics are louder and better for performing on stage if you're soloing, but acoustics have a warmth that's hard to emulate with electric violins. Acoustic-electric violins are a good choice since they can be hooked up to amps but they're basically normal violins. Both take different kinds of maintenance too.
