derrick rose does more for his team, 25 ppg, like 4 rebounds or something, and 7. something assists. he might not be as good at paul for shooting or steals or ball handles or passong, but he leads his team and wins matches, and he improves each season

Cp3 did the same kind of crap Derrick rose did few years back just barely losing the first seed to the then newly assembled lakers. If CP3 gets 1st seed that year he would have been MVP. Cp3 is the player I dont beed a Derrick rose. I question roses ability to shoot and to pass sometimes. Cp3 he does everything he's going to be top guy in assists he gonna be a top guy in steals and he is going to be a top guy in points.

now see lets get something straight here.. whats a PG main Job?.. not scoring, not athletic ability.. A PG main job is to get his teamates involved and keep the game at the teams tempo.. Chris Paul is the best PG in NBA.. for these reasons.. He scores when HE has too, he gets his team involved more than Rose (not to mention his assist turnover ratio), He gets steals like its nothing and he is 6' and rebounds more than most 2guards.. He is the most complete PG in NBA, which is why he is the Best.

I mean 5 years ago, heck yes i would take this guy over ANYONE in the NBA as a point guard, but in the nba, the pure point guards are decreasing. All the top ranked point guards can score now, excluding rondo. If you want the closest pure point guard it would be rondo, no one can beat steve nash man, but he is just too old, he is not in his prime, but much respect!

Chris Paul no doubt he made the Lakers (my fav team) look bad.. he's obviously back and will prove it this upcoming season and D-Will and D-Rose are tied. this 3 PG right here are consider superstars. I love Rondo but he's stats went down after the All-Star so him and Russell are just consider Stars.. but well see this upcoming season and i put my money that if CP3 stays healthy he will prove everyone he is still the best PG.. and i can't wait till he comes to the Knicks

I ono man, D-Will and D-Rose are definitely not tied, Rose is the MVP of the league lol, so there is nooooo wayyy D will is tied with rose, he is decreasing as rose is increasing and will continue to do so for a while. @mrxpapa1 Deron Williams is 27 while rose is 22. Deron Williiams averaged about 18 points a game and 9 assists. Rose averaged 25 points a game and about 8 assists and 5 rebounds, he is also shorter then williams. There is no way the mvp is because the team has the most wins, the team as the most wins because of the most valuable player... aka Derrick Rose. Deron Williams is a beast no doubt, but he is going to start decreasing. Rose can now shoot 3s too. His overall rating is top 5 in the league

Its going to be hard doing well when he is on a team like the nets but we'll see how he plays off i hope he does amazing. As for rose, he's been getting double teamed this whole season (mostly 2nd half), and when theres a good defender on him, he ends up by just passing by him. Thats why you don't see people like lebron kobe or durant on him because of Roses speed. Thats why point guards guardd him

This is hard discussion. Derrick roses ability to attack the paint and his speed makes him so intimidating. On top of that he knows he is there go to guy to score when his teammates aren't scoring. It's hard to compare guards like rondo and Paul who are more "pass first and find there shooters" to a guy who has to drive to the basket a lot.

Good video but i think the reasoning why derrick rose is number one is kinda off. I know he is the MVP but I think Chris Paul is overall is the best. He can score, pass and steal. Derrick Rose has really bad decision making at times and he often doesn't look to set up his teammates, and that what a point guards main job is to do.
