@trime1851 If you were intelligent youd realised that some channels are not withstricted to that limit and that not everything can be limited to under 10 minutes. Cinema, documentries and great lectures like this would suck if we tried to do that.
Plenty of people divide it into different parts. Screw that when you can have the whole :)
Excellent lecture. I love the crucial bit of nuance added by poinintg out that we should be hesitant to defend the tainted and distorted world of business bred by state intervention.
Mr. M your conviction and logical sensibility drives you to stick to your message and you score for those who pay attention and listen, as seen in the earlier comments. You have a halting delivery voice that initially made me uneasy, but I believe you'll be able to polish it and one day be indistinguishable from Tom Woods :)
And your dark humor also scores more than you might realize. Love 11:11 - "they'd give you a PhD in Economics." It's even better if you change "PhD" to "Nobel Prize." :)
Yeah, let's have middle school algebra be taught in a 10 minute lecture. Let high schools condense their readings of Shakespeare into 10 minute summaries. Oh wait that sounds ridiculous. To fully grasp the material and understand its subtleties one must devote more than 10 minutes of his time.
If anything this video was too short! I wish McCaffery had his own channel from which he could pass on his wisdom.
a truly excellent lecture, like a faithful hound Mr McCaffrey pants each point with poise and a subtly understated disdain for the crony cat like meweaucracy that grows daily like ivey around our freedoms, woof woof
Brilliant. Because this man who's criticizing the very foundation of the world economy and almost every political institution in the world is clearly just a mouthpiece for the powers that be.

The lecture is really well structured for the 15 minutes. It flows and doesn't use unnecessarily advanced terms.
Doug French and others might do well to more carefully avoid terms of art that high school students probably won't know.

This is one of the best lectures I've ever heard about basic economic principles.
