i did a song writing video. you should check it out its called 'a song about a song Adam Hoek'.

instead of talking about writing a song...i sing about it. Its not really helpful, but its fun. and sounds kinda good too...well i think so anyway :P

Glad to see so many entries, and i agree the standard is so high! I would really think a songwriting video would be beneficial. I am not big on people with no credibility doing this. There little of substance here! I write songs, well i try~LOL, but i'm reluctant to do songwriting vid's. I think this would attract more fans, and you could promote you web site and music as well. Worth thinking about Pete. Exposure at Youtube would be high. Cheers

just what i was thinking before! How amazing it would be, not to win, but just to have Pete see what we're all doing, whether you're in it for fun or you're a professional singer. And if he had a chance to give feedback, it would definitely be more valuable than winning, however there are SO many entries, and so many which are good!

The most exciting thing about this competition is that Pete Murray will listen to our songs! I agree with tifferzoe. If you check out below the time luuwhites video was uploaded, it works out to be around 3am friday morning. somethingforkaty's video just turned to "one day" as it is now 1:13am saturday morning.

You guys had like a month to do it. It's like a bus, if your too late you'll miss it.

Yeah that chord in the bridge is just a C chord but moved up two frets. Pete uses these chords quite a bit in his songs.
