Here's something to think about. If Santa Anna hadn't violated the terms of his surrender, and recognized the Rio Grande as the official border of Mexico and Texas, its possible that the government of Texas wouldn't have been persuaded to join the United States, hence its possible there would have been no war with Mexico and America, and Mexico would still own the lands you refert to as Aztlan. I know many people who are hispanic, I work with them on a daily basis, and some of my best friends are mexican. If I were to agree with you that the Texans had no business there in the first place, that would make it MEXICO's FAULT for offering them property rights to resettle. The settlers were just taking advantage of what they were offered. Now if someone of power stole your rights through bait-and-switch, I think you'd be pissed too.
