@RapidEyeMusic They don't. They film a bunch of episodes at once, like playing for a very long time on a Saturday or something, and then they upload them periodically. Then they do it again. That's why they won't get anyone's suggestions for awhile. So they live in ignorance and then like a bunch of episodes later they're all "OH THAT'S HOW" hahahah :D

Hey Katherine, the sailcloth kicks in automatically when diving off your bird into skyloft and the three lands. I'm not sure if it's works for the various islands around skyloft, but I thought it was neat.

I am a fan and stuff, but I am also starting to wonder if they just put this up for the money... They do make money from the ads around the clip. I feel like they are just cashing in on their fan base now with pointless gaming videos that receive lots of views. Just like Mario episodes are only posted so rarely because they get (by far) the most views and they want to profit from that project for as long as possible...?

This is what makes Let's Plays painful to watch...if Katherine had just been PAYING ATTENTION when she left the shop, she would have seen that he didn't have it equipped. It wasn't her fault that she couldn't figure out how to equip it, but she could have saved a lot of time by just taking half a second to look at Link and see that his shield wasn't there.

14 episodes in; let's recap what's happened.

Link walked around a bunch. Link found his bird. Link won a bird race. Zelda got kidnapped. Link walked around a bunch. Link got a sword. Link went shopping. Link took his groceries and walked around a bunch. Link fought a few things and cut some grass, while walking around a bunch.

Conclusion: This game is paced like a snail pushing a boulder up Everest. And the boulder is made of salt. And there's someone following the snail stating the obvious.

The guide that you're using is wrong, you only need to hold - (minus) for the pouch with the shield/potions in it, not - and B. (B is for weapons/items)

Okay, when you're in free fall, tilt the Wiimote downward in the direction you want to move. Once you pull the Sailcloth, you are going straight down.

The item check girl will get more interesting.

There's also a potion (available later in the game) that restores your shield and four hearts. Of course, by that point, you should have the Sacred Shield, which is self-healing. Don't upgrade any shield other than the Sacred Shield.

The bug net isn't yet available.

@photosinensis Actually the Revitalising Potion (the shield-fixing one) is available from the very beginning, or at least from the first time you can go into the Bazaar. Katherine actually has like two bottles of it I think. (You may be thinking of the Stamina Potion, the green one, which isn't available until like after the... third?... dungeon I think)

You don't have to hold B as well, just the - button. It's still a pain though. You can't pause in the middle of a battle to select a potion either, which is a pain. Also, once you have a bottle, the Revitalizing potion fixes your shield if it's taken a lot of damage. :D
