Now seriously speaking, even if Zommari said that because he was a coward, he got a point when he came with Shinigami's unfair sense of superiority they gained over eons and how they had an empty pride (with some exceptions like Ukitake).

I remember just how they acted superior to the rest of the spirits and living humans.

Of course just recently, thanks to Ichigo they started to see their mistakes...

@mauro16s He doesn't really have a point. A hollow is a soul turned bad that eats human souls for fun, when they survive off of spirit particles. Sometimes they attack humans to get their soul. The shinigami exist with the power to cleanse them and send them to SS. As well as sending lingering good souls there also. Unfair superiority would be a Shinigami sending them to hell over becoming something they had no choice in being. But yes, SS rules are fucked up lol.

To me, there are two levels of captains. The incredibly strong ones and the weaker ones. Most of the strong ones have been captains for over 400 years though. Stronger: Yammamoto, Shunsui, Jushiro, Byakuya, Unohana, and Kenpachi. And then the weaker ones are: Soi-fon, Hitsugaya, Mayuri and Komamura. This is my opinion because notice how Soi-fon couldn't even defeat Barrgan while Shunsui and Jushiro walked out of their without even having to use Bankai.
