that is a bench leg buck half mulie half blacktail the haed is too short and thick to be a blacktail but its ass says it is a blacktail

Great job; well done. It's a lot of work to successfully hunt Blacktail. I started huntin' them 12 years ago in my 40s in western Oregon. It's great to enjoy God's creations, deer and flora, this way. Godspeed into fall 2011.

Its a Columbian black-tail.................Ala­ska has Sitka black-tail, smaller

That looks like a mule deer, but blacktail and mule deer are basically the same species though.. Never seen a blacktail that big before.. Oh and I never seen a blacktail in my life. :)
