I used to have the most gorgeous ruby red. It was sparkly and super pigmented. Some random no-brand. It made my eyes look jeweled and not irritated at all. It was the prettiest eyeshadow I have ever seen.. I have never found a good red since. BTW red suits you. It is so pretty on you.

I've never commented before, but I think this series is such a lovely idea. I really appreciate that so much thought goes into the planning of your videos. I'm floored by some of the intricate art that you create with makeup in some of your particularly complicated videos. I like that you credited Lisa Eldredge. I have very pale skin with a pink undertone so the red was difficult. But I found that using a maroon red worked. I really like your technique of rounding out the red on the outer corner instead of lining it up with the black eyeliner. I'm going to try that next time.

@aimecurry Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I think everyone that takes inspiration from a big guru or a little guru that no one knows, people should give credit to them. Even though I didn't do it exactly like her I got inspired by it. It's also a way to avoid the drama of ppl saying "you copied her, blah blah", it's better to put it out there than to have to respond to rude comments. I'm so glad you liked it! @nikkiberry85 thank you! glad you do! I use a powder finish foundation from an Argentinian brand called Mila Marsi. I really don't have a complex foundation rutine, but yeah, I can do a video about it as soon as I get back home (these tutorials have been pre-recorded) thanks for the suggestion! take care!

@Desiree01232010 I know, maybe too much as I've seen in the thumbs down, but the idea and concept behind it was for it to be really red and tons of it :) The other colors form the series are not like this one.

Love it! I'm personally a big fan of the red eyeshadow and I like that this look is a simple one that doesn't require a dozen colors (not that I don't like those looks too, but simple is nice sometimes.)

@arcaneteresa Thank you!! I was looking for simple, just because if I added other colors if wouldn't be a red look. So I was careful not to add too much black or orange tones. it's very stunning, but for future reference, I would suggest that you should add some more depth for brighter colors like this. it just seems very one toned, you know? like you just put lots and lots of red around your eyes. add some deep ruby or whatnot

This look is the only basically monotoned look of the rainbow series, this was the look I was going for, since I was inspired by a particular makeup look and also because I didn't have any deep red colors to create more depth (except black and I didn't want to overdo the black) I didn't want to use orange colors since that will be the next look.
