@SHEMEANzEVRyTHANG2ME The sad part about Saw is that the first one, the 1 million budget one, is actually one of my favorites, I think it was original and thrilling and the ending is one of the best in the genre.

And of course Hollywood thought, "Hmm I smell money", and the rest is history, or to be more accurate, 5 movies the suckness of which grew parallel to it's budget.

Anyway, I'm just happy I was lucky enough to see this movie before it got turned into a Hollywood slasher flick...

j'ai l'habitude de se genre de film et j'avoue que Grande surprise !! au début on s'attend au bon film bête et gore du genre LIVE ANIMALS puis finalement le film se complexifie pour arriver au passage qui porte bien le nom du film , le passage de l'état humain a celui de martyr et la..!!!! Derangeant au possible mais exellente mise en scene toutefois ! ce film est un pti bijoux qu'il faut a tt prix voir (pour ceux qui veul un bon film sans le cote gnan gnan des productions habituelle) !!

@darklingsspawn Please please watch it, it is horrific and disturbing..........but the end you arrive at a place mentally and so spirituality uplifting I was left in absolute tears of the beauty of it. I literally got on my knees and cried...hard to explain. It's like I looked fear in the eye and acknowldeged 'you know what you don't frighten me' you have to give permission for someone to kill you mentally and physically. Fuck that !!!!!!!!!

@darklingsspawn i know what you mean. i hate gore and so many american horror movies are cheap and have no real storyline or meaning, they're a complete waste of time and money. it's always just a bunch of hot teenagers getting killed off one by one and you know the hottest blonde with the biggest boobs is going to be the survivor, anyway. i have a feeling this one however would stick with you and i do want to watch it.

dont worry it gets better as time by. you just have to keep telling yourself thats its not real. I'm not messing, the day after i almost went to church! (I havent been to church in 10 years), just to be round good people to restore my faith in humanity lol. I think back at that movie to a scene that haunts me near the end were the wifes in the kitchen dipping somthing from a steaming pan it acured to me after that she could have been her skin,maybe not but I dare not go back and check!

I generally like good horror films. I have seen almost 160,"Martyrs" really strongly overcomes them all. It's so cruel,sadistic,also possibly true and disturbing. It's just a film unforgettable

(for those people who could and can bear it until the end) and,in its way, it's also a very well done film and a horror masterpiece. If you want to see it, be prepared to something (during its 2nd half) indeed very violent,cruel and possibly disturbing beyond every imagination in a cinema just as at TV.

Fantastic horror movie...and seriously the second half was brutal and hard to watch and extremely disturbing towards the end...poor Anna, holy crap...you almost felt like you were there right with her. I was shocked by the end of it, especially when she was skinned. Damn it's even more disturbing 'Inside'
