  • I had a 1975 CB 750 K5 and it was a great bike… I racked up about 25 states coast to coast

  • sound a bit like a classic muscle car!

  • idle it up a tad amigo...

  • I know they were slow and not really very fast but id love to have this old bike,,,I had 3 or 4 of them groing up in all colors but wasnt smart enough to hold onto one,,wish I had,,Rick

  • cooool bike indeed. wow

  • To sell here:

    shop.eisenbahnhaus.de

  • used to ride mine flat out down the m53 on the wirrall in1972 at midnight , used to see 140 mph on the clock ! fab bike, great days. cheers.

  • I has a 1980 model, Oh how I love that bike :D

  • Awesome bike. Though I love the look of the 4 into 4 pipes, I have conceded that a 4 into 1 is better for performance. I could immediately feel the difference when I switched the stock pipes to a 4 into 2 into 1 with a Kerker muffler. Better compression. Definitely more power. Smoother idling.

  • there some thing raw and so primitive, like beating drums, or the beating of a heart that a lumpy engine in some way seems to replicate.

  • Suuuuuuperb!!

  • Firing too advanced, too. Fuel grade crap!

  • i've got such a hard on for an old sohc 750 to put in a rigid frame it pisses me off every time i see one i can't make 5 or 6 hundred extra bucks to go fucking find one. DAMN THE ECONOMY DAMN OBAMA DAMN BUSH AND DAMN THE FED FOR STEALING MY LABOR AND FUCKING THE DOLLAR! ahhhhhhhhhh!!!! i can't stand listening to it anymore i'm going to rob a bank and some old ladies now.....

  • @wanderer1031 Im with you. Im in So Cal, but we can meet wherever in the middle.. Lets get our money back from these banks in the most demanding of fashions, im ready to rob.. And if we go out in a blaze of glory, so be it.. we'll live through our stories..

  • @cxbra HELL YES!!!! i really would rather not die though, the whole point is to get some money to build a chop and then ride that fucker all over. im hoping to do the stampede someday but right now i've stooped to pretending to be a buyer and test driving peoples machines around the block.....ha....

  • sounds like my ferrari

  • 775km's? It's immaculate. Beautiful bike. Why don't you ride it once in a while? Oh, you'd have to wash it again. Never mind!

  • lovely clear sound

  • listen to that lovely primary chain rattling like a bitch lol.

  • I've never understood why french cars/bikes had yellow lights.. can anyone answer me?

    btw

    great bike

  • It's supposed to give you more contrast so you can see the lines on the road a bit better

  • BELLISSIMA

  • Once the engine's hot, he should run like a train. Just turn the stationary screw on your carbs a bit higher.

  • should be idling around 1500...sounds like around 1000

  • CB750's idle between 850 and 950. This is pulled directly from the Clymer M341 manual for CB750 1969-1978.

  • I owned one 750 K2 from 1975 until 1984 and this video is just spot on how I remembered that bike.

    Beautiful looks

    Wonderful sound

    Rattling cam chain

unstable idling (despite carbs in sync)

On the whole, why did I ever sell it ??

    Must have been stupid !

  • Ditto on that one matey! Why did we sell our old classics for peanuts when now they'd be worth a fortune.

  • What a Great Great bike i had a K1 new and have a couple now too, need to change a few things the cable clip on the horn, the black speedo cable retainer in the front fender and the rear shocks.. i like it a lot have fun with it i know you will TC

  • That is a Gorgeous Old Honda. Very Nice.

  • A very beautiful example of this truly classic bike...Couldn't help noticing the exhaust blowing!

I had a K1 myself but was not as nice as yours.

  • Thays is some motorcycle you got there mate, looks and sound superb

  • seems like new, fantastic

I had one k2 of 1972, blue. Great motor, terrible frame..

  • Great restoration... I had a K5 and loved it... I ride a bmw today, but the old 1975 K5 was my fav...

  • it have that classic sound moans!

  • these engine have some horse power man believe it or not i am gonns work on one

  • these bikes sure didnt sound this rough when new,its got issues....sounds like a farm tractor!fix exhaustleaks, adjust valves for starters!damn

  • prolly been sitting carbs a lil dirty is all you can hear it rev good idled too low also all bikes will sound like that if idled to low

  • ....or he turned the idle air screw too low. Have you ever heard a CB750 in real life before?

  • yea ive heard them i rode a super sport ,and rebuilt the carbs, the juga juga sound is the cylinders not turning fast enough,it makes them clatter-hard on parts

its not running correct, maybe even just a crappy plug,or really low octane fuel ,keeping it from burning right, there lable for a certain octane rating for a reason,a lot of ppl dont know it

  • One of the reasons the bike has a rattle is because its getting hotter and hotter setting still and running. They are built to cool as they move down the highway with air through the fins not set and idle and melt down.

  • I have a 1978 750, ALL sohc hondas have timing chain rattles..

  • Beautiful-looking K1. Always loved that colour.

  • OMG, your carbs are way out of sync.

The best way to sync them, is use a vacuum gauge. 3carbs have adjustable throttle travel.

Remove the 4 vacuum sample screws. Put tape over each hole to seal it off.

    start the engine.

Sample the vacuum level at the reference carb. Check each carb by removing the tape, checking with the gauge.

You will need to take a new reference sample reading each time you make an adjustment.

Email me if you need more info. I have done this many times.

    John

  • EXELENTE PTO ORDAZ VENEZUELA .....

  • how many carburaters are there is there only one or two all cylinder have their own carbureter

  • idle speed needs to increase then most of the noises will go, believe me I have a GS1100g

so I know all about noisy engines at low idle

  • nice lookin bike! i had a 75 cb750 and it looked nowhere near as good as yours.

  • Pull the clutch in and the noise will go away. Your carbs are way out of sync, and thats causing the clutch to chatter. Dennis

  • Good call patiotruck, the carbs are definitely out of sync and he might want to check the cam chain tension as well as adjust the valves. The idle is way too lumpy. The CB 750 in proper tune falls right to idle and burbles away happily at about a grand like the well balanced motor it is.

  • Yep, and I think I hear some exhaust leaks too.

  • That tick in idle is the bottom chain clicking against the aluminium shield. It is the design of the CB that gives this sound, it is also nothing to worry about as it does no harm.

  • yeah every CB ive came across has that tick.

  • this bike sounds just like 2 of my 550 four k cbs they tick like a time peice but work like a clock

  • these are damn good machines

Love CB750K1!

  • any body know @what turation this bike is running optimal, pls pm thankx

  • You must not leave the motor running at this too lowidle speed, you,re wrecking it that way!

    For the rest nice bi=ke!

  • bella moto complimenti

  • one of the greatest,if not the greatest bikes ever built.I've had more of them than i care to count. The carbs need tuned, whatever idiot says "hydraulic lifters" knows nothing about them.Great bike, keep it,it'll last forever.

  • nice machine, mine had more knocks and rattles than you could have poked a stick at, rode the thing hard for over two years never missed a beat very reliabel engine, great to ride in a straight line, but pre-historic when it came to cornering. All the same they were a beast of a bike and ahead of their time

  • Primary chain sounds mullered.

Maybe just carbs out of balance.

  • no, it's just the hidraulic lifters with a lack of oil...

he'd probably was speeding with the bike in hi revs, so the lifters discharged

  • HYDRAULIC lifters?!?! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Obviously you've never owned one of these.

  • this engine have mechanical lifters?

    didn't know about that.

just said that because that sound

sounds to me like hydraulic lifters running with a lack of oil

  • CAM CHAIN MY SON ITS A CHAIN

  • a chain drives the cam, i'm not talking about the cam, i'm talking about the valves

    valve lifter!

you know, next to the valve spring...

i'm asking if they're solid or hydraulic, like most of the cars

  • There are no lifters. It's a chain driven, single overhead cam, and the rockers ride directly on the cam lobes.

  • clean bike.

  • K1's are becoming more difficult to find...this one is absolutley gorgeous.

  • Great bike. Talk about the exaust please!

  • Awesome

  • simply the best !!!

  • Beauty

  • perfect

  • man that totally rocks my world

  • as velhas senhoras, jamais serao esquecidas, show

  • Sounds like my 1990 ford fiesta that has a hole in its exhaust pipe

  • Damn! Marvelous lion roar! This is THE motorcycle! thanx for sharing it with us..

  • sei stata mia nel lontano 1974

  • that thing sounds like a ferrari 275...awesome!

  • Bella moto

  • Great bike I've got one the same, just love the sound of those K1 pipes, they make beautiful music at around 5 - 6000 RPM,looks like a standard bike great work.

  • Meu sonho

  • That's how a motorcycle should be

  • COngratulations. I have one 1975! 750 four k7

  • just bought a 1975 750four this week. its rad
