  • Hey Dylan, I have a football in my house and I dribble it literally everywhere I go. Is this a good way to improve touch and control? Thanks

  • @lefrenchie123 - Yes this is one of the 1st things I tell playesr looking to improve their dribbling and control. Great stuff. Keep it up and keep me posted on your progress.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials okay, thank you, i will :)

  • Hey dude , great skills , do you have any tips to get faster , better skills tricks and be like Cristiano Ronaldo !?

  • @CrOzLm - If you go to my YouTube channel there is a playlist called "How To Improve Soccer Conditioning" in there, there are speed, strength, acceleration, agility drills.

I would also check out the "How To Improve Soccer Dribbling Playlist"

  • Football in a garage ?

  • @CrOzLm - Football anywhere and everywhere.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials I know that , but i though that you didnt find another place than this ?

  • @CrOzLm - Nope not at night. Hard to find good lighting.

  • Great stuff man! thanks. Im thinking of doing pro football as well. Are you in a club team yet? You're really good. Wanna get this Ultimate Soccer Training Guide thing but im not sure about money :/ Quick question, my long shot finishing isnt as good! How do i get power and still use my big toe? Also I can shoot set pieces and get 7 out of 10 of em without a goalie, but how can i produce the same results in a real game...I try to shoot high but a I just get it wide :/ Plz advice

  • @TheCovola - If you can find the money it's definitely worth it. It will be on the best investments you can put into your Soccer career. Shooting comes down to practice and I mean real practice. Consistent practice. It took me a long time to get comfortable with my shooting. But I never gave up, I kept coming back to the wall everyday. Practicing practicing practicing. When there is a keeper you have to hit the ball with more pace but you have to keep it down at the same time.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials Thanks, I'll take note and "put in the work" like you say :p No but seriously man, are you in a club team yet? Wanna see you in action!

  • @TheCovola - /watch?v=-kcJHtPEVTM - watch this youtube video of messi practicing free kicks. Notice his technique and try to do similar.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials Do u have videos on goalkeepers?

  • @DESTINYLORD - No sorry that is not my specialty.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials how do i improve my ball control?

  • @DESTINYLORD - Consistent practice. Go to my YouTube channel and look in the "How To Improve Soccer Ball Control Playlist" that is a great place for you to get started.

  • I've been practicing for 5 years, i'm in gr. 9, started in gr.3 (like summer 2006), i can do keep ups, and atw sometimes while doing keep ups, i've done neck stalls, and i'm practicing head stalls, i can dribble well, but i don't always have the best control like on the street, meaning i try to pull it back in a tight situation but i can't , so my question is, is it still possible to improve in like 3/4 years to become a great freestyler, dribbler, shooter, passer, etc...? yes silly question.

  • @12345soccerguy - Definitely you can improve in anyway you want, it's just about how hard you work. Spend a little bit of time each day improving the desired skill. But Im a big advocate of improving all areas of your game, not just one. If you want to improve all areas of your game check out Soccer Success Secrets - The Ultimate Soccer Training Guide.

  • Do a Messi tutorial.

  • @0CR9 - Go to my channel and search for "How To Dribble Like Lionel Messi"

  • Two words: You cannot

  • AHahhah 0:28 two white defenders ;P Evra wont be happy about that XD

  • @P90G1H4N - Haha I was afraid someone would pick up on that. Came out the wrong way.

  • What can i do to get past them? And another thing. Im having trouble shooting with cleats on but im a beast when i'm barefoot! I feel like im not getting enough contact on the ball. Hope u can help! Great vids!

  • @abe19messi10 - Well your right. You probably aren't getting enough contact on the ball. Really try to flex your foot and meet the center of your boot to the center of the ball. This is something that takes consistent practice. Yo should be spending at least 10 minutes a day on yoru shooting.

  • Greats videos man! I'm 16 years old and i've been playing for only about 3 years now. My biggest brother who is now 23 got me into soccer just by watching FC Barcelona on tv and the minute i began watching, i was in love! Haha. I really have a passion for the game and i want to better my skills. As i said before ive only been playing for 3 years but i have NEVER played for a team. I feel i have the mentality to become a very good player! Im having trouble beating defenders(my brothers). What ca

  • @abe19messi10 - The key is to make one quick move and then accelerate into space. You also need to have good control of the ball. I would start dribbling a Soccer ball everywhere you go. Around the house, to the park, wherever. Get more touches and your touch will get better. Then you have to work in game situations to get your opponent off balance and then quickly burst into the open space. Hope that helps for now. Go to my channel and search "how to beat a defender in Soccer"

  • lol 0:28 two white defenders. does that make it easier to practice on cuz there white? jk haha but great video man

  • @cramerj303 - Haha I was afraid someone would pick up on that. Came out the wrong way

  • POOR CLEATS

  • thanks this is a good drill, i need to improve this cos i tend to slow down and nearly stop sometimes when i try to go past a player 1v1. i noticed i REALLY need to change it last match, cos i flicked the ball past a player but i slowed down too much before, and another defender tackled me after i got past the first man! thanks for this drill :)

  • @footyfarid19 ha sounds like a problem i had every time i beat a man on 1v1s i slow down after i beat them i dont know but i guess its because im trying to fix my shot

  • @zmojofoot76 - That shouldn't hold you back from beating a man and accelerating and you should always shoot the ball when you have the chance. You need to start building confidence in your shooting.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials to be honest my shots arent great the only good thing i have when i shoot is curve n im still not that good with that shot

  • @zmojofoot76 - So get practicing. Are you practicing your shooting everyday? You really have to think about your technique and what you are doing properly or incorrectly. Watch professionals shoot the ball, if you can video tape yourself and then watch yourself shooting that can help alot as well. Keep looking to improve your shot. You have to become confident.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials its raining pretty hard right now hi i want to know if my first touch is good. when i practice my touch by recieveing the ball from the air an settling it rarely ever bounces higher than my knee is that good cus i see it as bad cus i can settle it without it bouncing but i dont really know how i do it so its hard for me to learn

  • @zmojofoot76 - Sorry I didn't quite understand that. Can you reword that?

  • @TheSoccerEssentials i want to know if i have good first touch when i recieve the ball from the air it usually never bounces around my knee height or higher or it doesnt bounce at all but i think its bad touch for me because it bouces when i recieve it even though it doesnt go above my knee n im going crazy with that cus the bounce to me is bad touch because i can recieve it where i just absorb the impact of the ball i hope u can understand it

  • @zmojofoot76 - Thats alright you want to practice over time to bring it down to the ground right away - like Ronaldinho. Remember no matter how good your touch is, it can always get better.

  • @TheSoccerEssentials thanks man im gonna practice now n yeah but its frustrating because when i bring it down to the ground right away i forget the technique i forget how i did it so i cant repeat it thats what really gets at me

  • @zmojofoot76 - You want to cushion it and bring it down to the ground gently with curled toes. Go to my page and search for the video Ball Control Like Zidane

  • @TheSoccerEssentials ohh thats what i forgot im gonna check it out right now thannks man

  • @footyfarid19 - Ya in reality you don't really need moves, just changes of speed and direction. Moves definitely help to send a player one way to create some space for yourself. But ya try to make a quick move and boom accelerate away

  • Nice

  • @iiCLicHes - Thanks for watching. Hope your training.
