I have a question. Nothing against Fisburne (he's an awesome actor and I think he's doing a excellent job on the show) but how come he gets his name before Helgenburger who's been there from the start? I'm honestly curious.

Oke...wel it still is kinda weird...I mean for example Las Vegas...when James Caan and Nikki Cox left and Tom Selleck replacing James Caan as the boss of the casino for the final season he was put last in the opening credits...

Yes but last when you have "AND" attached to your name basically means you share equal billing with the lead role, or you are like a permanent 'special guest star'. Paul Guilfoyle already has that credit though. I think they should do what Chicago Hope credits did. One week one person is 1st and another 2nd, the following week they reverse that, then back again

It's puzzling. So a new guy comes in and is suddenly the star. The stars are those who we know and love as characters, not someone we met 2 episodes ago. Marg should definetely be first.

Actually I thought the same thing for a while but after watching a few of Laurence's episode I got it. For all of the CSI the story is told by whoever is at the top this gives them a chance to do something complety different and make the original CSI special again, by having it told by someone at the bottom which is why a lot of the stories are told by Ray and Riley's P.O.V
