  • where can I get that recording (drums) ?

  • @MrDenverdan It's from the soundtrack of "House of Flying Daggers".

  • @jpranger Thank you.

  • What is this bullshit?!

  • I've wanted to see this stuff since reading Mr Smiths excellent book on Chinese boxing! Thank you.

  • Wonder if there is any footage out there of Master WSJ doing whole eight palms set - would be amazing.

  • OH, VERY FUNNY!!

  • The second guy hitting Wang to no effect may be Donn Draeger. Back in the day, Mr. Smith would show these films around twice a year after Saturday morning T'ai Chi at the Y. Great stuff, really brings me back t see it!

  • Badass!!!

  • hell yes. dude has class

  • It is a pity he died from diabetes.Too high a love for sodas but a great martial artist.

  • humpy dumpy....well he might have suffered from an enlarged prostate..but i actually like his bagua style....it feels more comfortable compared to some of the new mainland ones...

  • the first time I watch in this video WSJ performs ba gua walking I have chills over my back

  • where did this footage come from and where can i get more?

  • This is a great master ... and he is adorable ... not fat!

  • Yes, but he had a hell of alot more sex than you ever will.

  • stfu, this is great. he may be fat, but is in better shape then you bitch. guarantee he could kick your ass too

  • one of the finest masters of his time greatly respected in internal circles.

  • this from the 17 year old "Queen" fan...

  • Yes, but the saying is from Bruce Lee and the sentiment still rings true no matter from a 17 year old queen fan to a 35 year old father.

  • Ten yeas ago I sent out inquiries to martial art groups on-line about Robert Smith's films of the Taiwanese masters to see if any of them had been transferred to video. It's good to see some of them have been now. He must have hundreds of films from his CIA assignment of 1959-62. Hope more of them will be posted.

  • Hey k4jdp.. I have read Chinese boxing and its a wonderful book. I had no idea he was working for the CIA.. I still have to get my hands on Martial Musings. I was wondering if he had any new books coming out.. Take care...

  • Wow, thanks for the clip.

  • You better believe it!

  • I think that Smith person who taped these footage is very clever and is beyond his times...to have known such a treasure that the west have yet to discover.

  • Wang Shujin aka Wang Chu Ching one of the great internal master of the century. He mastered Pa kua, Hising I and Tai Chi chuan.

    Great.

  • To Sinologists, pinyin is the better transliteration system, so Wang Shujin, Baguazhang, Xingyiquan, and Taijiquan, rather than those imprecise Wade-Giles terms. But yeah, great.

  • Check out my profile. I have a good deal of old footage.

  • fantastic to be able to see even a few seconds of these guys...thanks for putting it up...any more?? :)

  • Teh Graciez w0uld wast0rz!!!!!!! BJJJ OWNZZZZ!!!!!!

  • BJJJ? Blow Job Jiu Jitsu? I guess you mean BJJ. Of course, we'll never know, but who can really say BJJ would win in a genuine no-rules contest? It depends more on the fighter than the fighting system.

  • hahahahahahahaha blow job jiu jitsu!!!!

    man i almost pissed myself

  • TekkenCombos, you said you almost pissed yourself from your laughing. You must be a great, great martist to laugh at Wan Shu Jin and I don't blame you as your art is so much superior to Wang's. You sure you didn't shoot your spunk, you miserable little wanker, you miserable little bastard.

  • im not laughing at the martial art u dumbfuck im laughin at blackjamm. if dat offended u so much to the point where u had to comment then u r a fucking pussy

  • Hi, just wanted you to know I didn't write that. Someone else posted the comment when I was logged in. Apologies for my name being used for that abuse.

  • look at him go!

  • Now, this guy is the real deal.

  • Nice! Wang Shu Jin!

  • I like it -interesting and historic.
