  • Thank you for sharing. Very nice form. Nice flow of movements. Nice energy work - gave me peace and joy while watching.

  • The Teacher's center is foremost at all times!

  • That is a beautiful form by all means. I love seeing martial arts perfected and done in such a beautiful manner i give Zhou Xuan Yun much credit to this he has it down perfect. Its a form i would love to learn someday. I think the older i got the more i appricate doing forms for martial arts. I study Jow Ga.

  • wow this is awesome; Master Xuan Yun seems such a devoted dedicated man, seriously, it looks as if he's done nothing but perfecting his martial arts for some time.

never heard of Xuan Wu Quan before, but it looks like a mix of taichiquan, bagua and strangely...even Pei Mei??!!! :O

  • Is this the same person as seen on videos by user mikewudan?

  • @Jonnyeth Thanks for the question. But no, this is Zhou Xuan Yun, while those videos are Yuan Xiu Gong. You would have to ask one of them about their specific relationship in the arts though.

  • @IncludingTheStars Ah. Thanks for letting me know. Either way, they're both incredible. I particularly love the grace and fluidity in this video.

  • Thanks for the comment, btw!

  • Although there are some lines of Wudang that are becoming more performance structured, Master Zhou Xuan Yun offers the most realistic combat I've ever experienced in seminars and classes.

  • This is an extraordinarily beautiful Form , as well as looking practical for fighting . Actually breath-taking ! Thank you so much for posting .

  • I'm glad you could stumble across it! :) Zhou Xuan Yun is very focused in his teaching on making sure techniques are combat ready. sjander29, it's nice to see some people have an eye for such!

    Thank you again!

  • There's something about this man and his form... no wonder they call him Xuan Yun.

  • Fitting huh? :D Check out his other videos on the @DaoistGate channel for more!

    Thanks for commenting!

  • I am from Boston

is it possible i can learn under him???

  • This is amazing. I live in Tokyo, do you know where I can find any wudang masters that can teach me? I've been doing kung fu off and on, and I would really like to delve into the wudang stuff more.

  • I know one of Zhou Xuanyun's students lives in Japan-- but I'm not positive as to where.

Wudang has begun spreading quickly in the past few years, so I'd keep my eyes peeled!

    Best of Wishes,

    ~Michael A.

  • wow amazing :D

  • The video gives his skill little justice. Seeing the form in person is quite awe-inspiring!

Thank you for the comment! It's most appreciated.

  • a pleasure to watch.

  • and a pleasure to film and share. Thank you for the comments! I'm glad it can be enjoyed and the form can be appreciated!
