Need help: At :27 the arrow points to bank1 sensor2, is it safe to say that the other sensor on the left is bank 2 sensor 2? I have error code P0161 which is bank 2 sensor 2 malfunction. Thanks for any and all help.
This worked great! Thanks for posting. I decided to go with the OEM part that didn't require wire splicing after taking a leap of faith that the B1S1 was where described in this video. It really is hard to find out there. One thing to add, WD40 works, but I still had trouble taking off the original sensor on mine. I needed to turn on the car with the WD40 for a couple of minutes, and the thing came off without ANY problems after that. Very easy fix. How can dealers charge so much?!?
Based on the TSB it would reason that since the B1S2 is on the driver side then B2S2 would be on the opposite mirror...On the passenger side on the bottom.
so basically, lookin at the video B1S2 is the one the arrow points to. then B2S2 is the one on the other side of it correct?? i was told i might as well change B1S2 along with changing B2S2
Sorry for the delayed response. Bank one is the exhaust that comes off of cylinder 1 and bank two is the one that comes off of cylinder 2. I think the firing order is 1423. Sensor one is before the cat and sensor 2 is after the cat. No I wouldn't replace b1s2 unless you had the money to do it. OEM is pretty expensive and the aftermarket one works in a pinch. My after market one is fine after 2yrs, but will replace with OE if it fails.
My Bank 2, Sensor 1 of 2002 Toyota Camry XLE is gone. How can I reach the sensor? where is it located? I cant find it either is there a site to go to are can you make a vido please sir
Follow the exhaust that comes from the second cylinder and the first sensor should be it. My camry is up in the bay area or I would have taken a picture for you. Sorry for the delayed response.
Hi can anyone tell me if the sensor you buy at advance auto at the cost of $180 the same as the one you buy from Ebay for $22 with no plug the wires are right thank you.
I think I paid about $75 I think at Autozone compared to the $160 the dealer wanted. I would have gladly paid the 160 but the pricks at puente hills toyota wouldn't tell me there B1S2 was!!!! That said, I haven't had any problems with my aftermarket bosh universal sensor except for a loose connection that gave me another error code.
Thanks a lot. Your help is very appreciated. I tried that. However, I couldn't get the whole console to come off, so I just put it back together and broke down and took it to a qualified mechanic. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wallet will never be the same.
