Have you all tried to compare the modern GSD to the original GSD that Max Von Stephanitz bred. GSD's Should be straight back. But anyway GSD's are really beautiful dogs

no the real german sheperd are like that .sheperd with the straight back are not german sheperd but english sheperd the real german sheperd are with the sloping back .i have one same as this dogs and when they move they look great

The sloping backs (angulation) grows on you. My previous GSD was a straight-back. I then got a new GSD pup who came from showline stock and he has this sloped back. Now, nearly a year on, I can say that the angulation does give the dog a great bouncy trot. Now I cannot see myself owning one without it. He looks so cool when he trots.
