@Tenzek I can do it in a drake with an afterburner. You just have to set orbit at 500m or 1000m, whichever range still allows you to hit him. Unless you were using beam lasers and the abaddon was using pulse lasers...

@TheReaverOfDarkness A drake is much more mobile, being a shield tank. Also, you'd have to be against a low-skilled and terrible fit to pull off those numbers. Just a basic meta zero web would remove any possibility of that working.

It really works. Can flippers can be confused: Continuously jettisoning 1 unit of velspar to leave behind garbage cans (dang appropriate name) , while mining for your own full shipboard load, has proven to be a nice payback for can flipper rats as evidenced by chat channels.

@smitony2 A gank fit Abbadon can melt an active T2/low end faction tanked Abso as the 1k-1.3k DPS the Abbadon puts out will easily blow through the thin buffer as the reps cant keep up.

These guys were noobs, i messed up though, so i can only blame myself. Also had we had our guardian like normally did when we flipped i would have been fine. Yes canflipping with logi support is cheeze, I admit. As for the loss, I thought it was funny and ironic, and im glad you like it. I bought another one, which ended up lasting for over a year in high low and null sec before biting it around OMS to a gallente FW gang (of all things) so yeah, so a wise return on investment

lol, i hardly can flip much anymore. Its kind of boring and it is esentially shooting fish in a barrel. A good greifer tactic tho. Have killed mission golems and orcas over canflips and RR aggression timer tactics in highsec before... so I wouldnt call that fail. Still, this is my most shameful loss ever... it is pretty lawltastic. That baddon fit was failfit., but i had a 20% resist in my thermal, so meh.
