  • he liked his food then?

  • It's been years since I last read His and others Books, or had any contact with His Followers (scewballs). There is something to be learned from Him. "The Horror of the Situation" when you discover that you are surrounded by mere puppets on a string- imprisoned by externals...that in fact, all of us are unconscious automatons- machines...one way of looking at it. Unfortunately, His organization and others like it are fossilized. Time for something passionate.

  • ....questo è stato un' Uomo.

  • Given the importance of music in Gurdjieff, it seems strange that the music on this video is somewhat strange and chaotic: Don Davis's music to the film 'The Matrix', Rodrigo's 'Concierto de Aranjuez', and other stuff that sounds like Hollywood orientalism... Perhaps there is some strange esoteric meaning to the choices? or not...

  • Thanks for posting. Amazing to see G on film. And great to see the finale from Meetings with Remarkable Men; I find the music and dance a very powerful combination.

  • always turning wonder if there is a particular significance to the dance and what these dances mean or are they just meant to be appreciated as art

  • Well they mean something to the practitioners. There is a meaning, which eludes my mind right now, but they are not just art, which i'm sure you are referring, unknowingly, to subjective art, which is, to be short, accidental art which is pretty. The dances are objective art, they have a meaning that is the same to everyone who experiences it. It's not the "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" type of art.

  • The meanings differ from each dance. I believe that the essence is that they show the actions of the Laws of Three and Seven.

  • bravo è la prima volta che vedo gurdjeff in video..

    ma pensa te.. per belzebù..

  • all "eyes" are the same, in one way that they can experience the beauty that pre-existed all eyes. all 'preferences' are learned artifacts of culture

  • Beautiful!

  • Beauty is in the EYE of the beholder

  • Beauty existed before the EYE. Besides, all eyes are the same

  • Beauty existed before the EYE but not all eyes are the same as not all fingers are the same, ask any magician about this fact
