We had our beautiful, loving, good, good, girl Gracie put down over a month ago and the grief is overwhelming at time. It was not an easy euthanasia like in "Marley and Me" as she cried when the anesthesia shot when in, then had a horrific grand mal seizure once she was unconscious. To be fair, they warned us this might happen. They couldn't do an IV drip because they said that would be MORE painful because of the leg pain. My daughter has seen and heard her ghost; I've just heard her.
This is why I left religion. . they say dogs/animals don't have souls. My Maddie had more of a soul or a spirit than most humans she will be in heaven before me. I hope I see you there my love.
losing a dog cuz it ran away is painful, and then when it comes time for the poor thing to go to heaven its realy sad!
no dog can ever replace the lost bestfriend!
some times when i am sleeping i say to my self i never want my dog to die none of them then i cry.the next day i award my dog and thank god 4 giving me life and my dogs life, becuase i awoke to my friends once more.
What a beautiful dog!!! he seemed so nice!I am sure he is in heaven now. When my dog died, I prayed, and I had a spiritual experience. There is something for them after death too. They are also God's creatures. They are our little angels on earth.
We just lost our yellow lab to cancer...we feel your pain. Our kids grew up with her also. Her tribute is on youtube also- search for "Koko's story". Keep the memories alive.
I had to give my dog away to a woman who had another dog beucase we were moving near a busy road and we couldn't afford a new fence and we couldn't keep her inside all day but my dog blazy really liked another dog who was owned by a woman and blazy(my dog)would escape out of our garden and go to her house just to meet the dog she would let blazy in and they would just sit together in her back garden.
I was 14 very sad day becuase we had her for 7 years
What a lucky little boy to have parents who understand how important it was to remember Max in this way, and what a lucky dog to have such wonderful, caring owners, and, finally, what lucky people you are to have the gift of love. I am sure, indeed, your dog did have a wonderful life.

I have a dog,
but I had a cat about 2 months ago.
if you heard the story, if you JUST HEARD IT
you would see it would be one of the most saddest stories you have ever heard.
even after 2 months I think of her every day...

> I trust dog; but never trust people
That says more about you and the kind of people you surround yourself with than it does about people or dogs in general.
