  • that should be the future camera that is used for reporters so it is small compared to todays cameramen camera in the medias

  • Bigger is better as far as cameras are concerned in the future i guess

  • remember that tv show from my childhood...great one - thanks for uploading...

who thought of putting Beethoven Piano Sonata as it's opening theme...

  • this show is poop

  • @HyakuZaku if you hate it why did you watch it?

  • intel pwned by a corporal? fire those incompetents!

  • *sigh*, when is intel every right? >.>

  • @iHateSpoilerz i hear ya. Military Intelligence mmmmm oxymoron ;)

  • @horusrage Intel's incompetence is to a level that even Gossard can do a better job at tracking that transport bug....in less than a minute.

  • I like Roughnecks better than the starship troopers movie

  • the song is catchy

  • Paper boy only know how to filming not fighting!

  • @kklau123456 Good thing during and after Tophet Higgins actually starts fighting.

  • anyone notice how this has kind of similar feel to pandora and the same oxygen levels and how long you can breathe it. and that bug ship looks like a phantom from halo in short this is so awesome people have to use it's ideas haha

  • why does rico look like my sister's ken doll?

  • We all agree that while Higgins's combat skills are not Immense....

But he will NOT put down tht camera, or the mic for the voiceover for anything.

He is... As TerraceArchimedes say's, The ultimate Cameraman.

  • @DiamondbackGunner Did you make that comment just to say my name? Lol...

  • Higgins = The ultimate cameraman.

He won't put down that camera for anything, even giant bugs that will kill him if he doesn't get the hell out of there.

  • @TerraceArchimedes

Like the cameraman from ST1 who filmed his reporter getting chopped in two. Thats dedication, or maybe he just did not like him very much :)

  • @tberwick1 No one really likes reporters, especially not their cameramen.

  • @tberwick1 yeah I LOLed at that part

  • @iHateSpoilerz

    Shame he gets whacked too

  • this higgins is not a combat camera man the director is naive about military system, they have the story to shoot the bugs thats it

  • "make that, overdone"

    (me)*slowly claps hands*

  • PSI OPS troopers should be warrant officers or at least NCOs..That way their talents, which are mostly accurate, will not be halted by command, platoon level or company..

  • @TheSafetysoff They actually are better than Intel....those guys, arrghhh!!

  • 7:05 looks like sin on final fantasy X anybody agree

  • they BLOCKED PLUTO -10/10 damn ..

  • @mcrprophecy07 not anymore

  • the transport bug looks alot like the halo phantom, probably where the design of the ship came from

  • LOVE the anti grav effect on the water.

  • pluto is one of the most funines campaign in all series!!!!

ohh man but no t'phai on it

  • Why cant they make shows like this anymore??

  • Is it just me or do these bugs sound a lot like the Zerg from starcraft?

  • @ltnatasha In fact, Starship Troopers was my first impression of Starcraft! When I first played the Original Terran Campaign,I was like "ooooooh just like Starship Troopers" ^_^

  • I would like to kick some bug ass!

  • Gotta love the opening

  • i wotched this as a kid of about 8 and wotchin it know brings back memories.

  • The one thing I never understood.... why do the bugs want to kill us anyways? and HOW THE CRAP DID THEY ALL EVOLVE TO OBEY TE SAME KIND OF BUG?

  • Well, to me it seems like the bugs are only semi sentient. They seem like a type of Apex Predator that exists on an interstellar level. My opinion is that they're doing what animals do, but they're biology allows them to do it on a level above what we're used to. Kind of like the Flood from Halo.

  • And as to how they evolved, perhaps the multiple species came from an environment where they saw taking orders from one species was beneficial to survival, and perhaps over time evolved to be able to take orders through a more efficient biological mechanism. A type of symbiosis perhaps.

  • in dutch we have a saying 'in het land der blinden is éénoog koning' translated it means ' in the land of the blind the man with one eye 's king' so this goes as well for bugs I guess

  • 1. Everything non-bug is either food or threat to its species.

    2. Queen bug or local brain bug control the troops (more like drones) via telepathy.

  • Well, for obeying the same bug: it often happens that very different organisms live in symbiosis with each other.

It can then seem like one of them is 'obeying' the other, but both actually profit out of the relation.

  • @Mrcakeman34 watch starship troopers 3 movie

  • @Mrcakeman34 in case you didnt noticed, there are LOTS of different kinds of bugs. arachnids, artillary bugs, little small ones, flyers, flame shooting bugs, and alot more. later on, theres even bugs that can slip inside of the trooper armor and walk around. theres even big ship-like bugs for space travel, and brain bugs that control the whole mess.

  • From what I have read up the roaches, will not survive a nuke in the sense that all of them will survive. There are many different types of radiation waves, these waves can be blocked by enough protection rubble/walls/ground. roaches are able to take more radiation than humans . Any above ground would be terminated. Roaches can also adapt very quickly, This means they can begin adapting to the fallout or at least repair themselves genetically before mutation

  • The roaches survive because they have slower metabolism. If they do not get away to a zone were radiation levels are not enough to kill it, it will die.

  • one thing i NEVER UNDERSTOOD IS HIGGENS ......... why dosnt he get goss to rig his camera to his.. shoulder pad on his suit. so he can film and still fight

  • it would make quite a bit of sense wouldn't it.

  • @ottselguy , why the fuck doesnt higgins die. i like the character, but in the movies the guys who kicked ass and blew shit up died all the time, but the paper boy who is basically less combat efficient the caboose from red vs blue is still alive.

  • @Altier215 AHAHAHA! Loved that reference ;D

Well... IMO, Higgins has began to prove his worth after Tophet, so I think he doesn´t really deserve to die.

Plus he never lets go of that camera for ANYTHING, be it Razack in a bad mood or a giant bug nearly chopping him in two. XD

  • @ottselguy he's a paperboy at heart

  • @ottselguy because it would be to easy

  • @ottselguy cause hes a pussy who cant hit shit if it were 2 feet infront of him... na jk higgins awsome

  • @ottselguy Better control with his hands I guess, but maybe they should just get one INSIDE his helmet so people get the same view as his. But then he can't look at Flores' - You get the point.

  • @ottselguy because that would take logic

  • @ottselguy more importantly, y was his camera so big so far in the future.....

  • tis is my fav campaign

  • i whonder why a organic ship like the transport bug dont burn up in the atmospehere ?

  • cockroaches don't die in nukes, maybe they have simliar genetic traits?

  • Cockroaches don't die from the radiation in fallout. They'd still get vaporized by the explosion, though.

  • no, apparently they can survive the blast. i don't if that's due to the durability of the shells or their habitats, namely tiny nooks and crannys, but there is supposed to be some aspect of them that helps to survive.

  • Roaches DO die in nuclear blasts - it's the radiation they are able to survive because of certain genes.

  • magic

  • it dosen't burn up for the same reason space ships don't burn up, it's slowing down before touchdown. Its actually doing a better job of it too by using its stoval "engines" for downward thrust reducing the falling speed of its gigantic fat ass even more.

  • Special skin maybe ;)

  • exoskelton. undoubtedly hardened not just to planetary entry but to the harshness of interstelar travel overall.

  • easy. Think Zerg from star craft. They have been genetically perfected so that their carapace is A, contained and B able to stand that kind of pressure and heat.

  • 1:38 the camera's aimer thing in the center of the screen looks like a pokeball

  • you gotta remember that this cartoon was an extension of the book ! they wanted to take their own direction. sadly the people who financed it were complete toss and we'll never know how the whole story ends ! which is a real shame

  • Even though it's inconclusive, it still kicks Starship Troopers 2's ass any day lol.

  • amen sst2 was toilet shit

  • how old are u guys

  • wo. mean t'phai the sharp shooter dont exist in book?

  • thing is when I was growing up I remember watching this series. But I only remember the Pluto campaign. that's all I ever saw, and these are all new to me.

  • 25% Oxygen, 75% hydrogen??? one shot and the whole planet blows

  • saturated. meaning its not in gas form. so there would be no explosion

  • It's not free hydrogen.

  • Comment removed

  • 66%hydrogen and 33% oxygen would be more reactive

  • a good thing to remember is the original how much good or bad Neva lives or translates to a movie they change it fundamentally to suit the target audience

  • it is

  • apparently that?

  • what are the skinnies? (i dont remember alot thats why im rewatching movies and shows)

  • anybody knows the sequence of the series?

  • Pluto, Hydora, Trophet, Tesca, Zephyr, Klentathu, Homefront

  • Was this a TV Series?

  • anyways...

hydora was my favorite campaign in this seires. awesome, AWESOME show infinatly better then the movies. way better then most of the crap they try to pass off as "entertainment."

  • I just realized something: Gossard said that a bug that size (the transport bug) would trigger gravitational anomalies as it passes through star systems. So why does it not trigger tidal waves (even small ones) when it splashes down from space to the water of Hydora?

  • 3 words... "Lazy 3D Artists"

  • So true...so true...although it seems like the humans "gravitate" towards it. hahaha XD

  • Hydora could be the exoplanet "70 Virginis b", it was discovered in 1996. I wonder if the writers used it as a model?

  • those bugs just rocks XD

  • just relized that the bug falling toward the planet is similar to Battlestar Galactica's Adama Manuever.

  • this is on a different storyline right?

  • i dislike only one thing about this show...the opening theme music...thats it, the rest is simply amazing

  • This. And this isn't even that faithful to the book.

  • Great series! Thanks for the upload but just a though.. Why in hell would a pilot start the ignition sequence without first detaching itself from the mothership and moving some distance away?

  • I loved that orbital drop scene they did in the Hydora Campaign, ODSTs have nothing against that.

  • this remind me so much of starcraft terrain vs zerg.....if any psyonic race shows up looking like the protoss...i'm renaming starship to starcraft....

  • The guns they use hold alot of ammo.

  • This reminds me of GDI vs the Scrill in Tiberium Wars.

  • just so u now pimpen STC came out befor Halo

so halo probably copied off this

  • tho to a very small extent apparently

  • If halo ripped of anything, it ripped off Halflife

  • and Stargate S-G-1

  • How, exactly?

  • to the people talking about halo/starcraft.

i highly doubt either truely influenced the other or were influenced by SST. they are all seperate stories. SC is similar to SST, but could have been develeped without being influenced by SST.

while halflife is awesome it certainly did not influence halo, storyline wise atleast. and i doubt it did visualy either. two totaly differint games.

and how the hell does stargate SG1 influence halo? lol

  • Starship Troopers is based on the Robert Heinlin novel of the same name which was released in the 50s, some 40 years before either video game, so it stands to reason those talking about the games got their facts reversed.

  • @LurkingGoblin hi but the united earth directorate or the UED LOOKS VERY FAMiliar like SICON dun you think ?

  • ^^ Thanks so much for posting the series up

  • VERY COOL VIDOES. YOU ROCK

  • COOL

  • that was an awesome shot when that bug came in over the water in the biginning

  • I think I know Higgins question:

If the atmosphere is hydrogen and oxygen what happens if we set something on fire?

  • I was thinking he was going to pick that time to tell everyone that he can't swim.

  • is it me or do those suits looks just like the master chiefs off of halo? exact...just make it where the glass shows no face

  • Halo came after STC. and ST.

  • i just had an epiphany, killzone meets stc, gold mine lol

  • what order should you watch these in?

  • Pluto, Hydora, Tophet, Tesca, Zephyr, Klendathu, Homefront

  • is that the correct order?

  • yes

  • The dropships remind me of halo, or i guess halo would remind me of this...

  • a lot of sci-fi books, movies and video games draw inspiration from Heinlien's novel. the space marine, powered armor, dropships, interstellar war (not positive about that one though)

  • hold on that thing is a bug but it has thrusters wtf?

  • xd i love that bug-ship is so original well mi theory is this is that those trusters are made of plasma just as the plasma bugs that what makes the proporcion that mi theory but seems to have alittle sense.

  • ok how was the bug ship made? its not like it would have been made out of an egg, and who makes the warrior bugs and the hoppers?

  • may be that there is Giant Eggs for giant bug... but i think that's organic technology mentally controlled by a Brain Bug. A second Brain goes to ground to control the bugs that have landed.

  • yea, like a space fleet brain bug. maby it makes its fuel kinda like how the plasma bugs do it.

  • Skinnys probably made it

  • the skinnys dident make it, u see it before the skinny campaign

  • Thanks alot for adding this series, already seen it twice, once on TV, the other on the net. I'm adding all of them to favorites :D

  • hey 8:06 the mongoose

  • looks like it eh. The armor is kinda like master chiefs. And the marine armor is kinda like the RL star ship troopers

  • true say...but this show reminds me of starcraft more than N E thing, "If" this story is as depressing as the starcraft storyline, then there should simply be "to many bugs" for them to win, no matter how good there tech. is.

  • but tehy do win lol

  • your talking about SST, right? cause i could blaintley point out the videos showing you how the zerg and up consuming everthing...the protoss rid them of one planet and cast a barrier around it to protect them.....to live along side the humans....the rest of the "universe" and what ever life is left has to face the zerg...and i think that the hybrid race is gonna pawn all in the 2nd one

  • oh ok

  • satrcraft starcraft starcraft ZZZZZZZ i dont careee aboutt starcraft!!! dont you guys get it starcraft is not the best original sci fi!!!!!! is a copy from warhammer 40,000 and warhammer has elemnet from starship trooper starship trooper was writen in the 1950!! was wayyy before starcraft and stop comparing starcraft is juts a copy paste of the rest of scifi.

  • to be fare it is also arguably the most popular computer game of all time, i base this on the people paying to watch it/making 6 figures to play it in korea

  • Im sorry but i think the RL SSTs that your talking about are in that movie. The movie was essentially a pariody of the book. They got very little right from Heinlin's orgianl concept.

  • This show came out WAY before Halo too

  • u guys think, that halo might have gotten some of their inspiration from starship n aliens?

  • is this the campian after pluto?

  • Yeah

  • i flippin' remember watching this when i was 8 years old!

  • haha same here before i went to school

  • heh same, i didnt realize how violent this was when i was younger though..

  • yo yohurtrancher keep these episodes posted on youtube your making starship trooper fan real happy.

  • The only reason the troopers can breathe while their in suit is beacuse theres a piece of armor covering the neck that is attached to the helmet which allows stretching of the neck coverso they can look areound freely

  • Razak: "Atmosphere 25% oxygen, 75% saturated hydrogen. Breath it longer than three minutes, you drown"

Diz: "Maybe we should check out Miami instead."

LoL, I love the one liners in this series. Hey, I'd take Diz to Miami anytime. ;)

  • HEHE Yeah

  • I think this is the best animated series of all time. I used to watch it in 9th grade when i was airing. Shame they ended it so abruptly.

  • what do you mean did it end on a cliff hanger but don't tell me the ending

  • Yeah it does end on a cliff hanger but you got about 40 episodes of bliss ahead of you. I think it's worth it and apparently you can read the directors's comments and find out the intended ending.

  • I liked the PLUTO Campaign better.

  • you only watched a small part of the Hydora Campaign and your already jumping the gun??

watch the entire campaign first before you judge dude

  • Roughnecks no luck all skill

  • great go federation.......squash the bugs!!!

  • ffps Pluto-Hydora-Tophet-Tesca-Zephyr-Klendathu and Homefront

  • Yo, can anyone rply to me what order the campaigns are in

  • yo just google roughnecks: stc and click on the first hit

  • very good thanks

  • i miss that one mecha soldier ep...it made me cry when i was little...

  • i love the op

  • i used wake up early to wacth this shows before school when i was 11 in 1999 this is awsome

  • me too! xD

  • each campaign was 5 episodes, so two of these 10 minute segments make up one show

  • Theme Song ROCKS!

  • I DON'T CARE!

  • notice how well equipped they are compared to the movie :P

  • heres a question, when they showed this on upn when i was lil, it was a full 30 minute show, this here is 10 minutes, and its 30 minutes per part, so wats the deal here. something is screwy.

  • yeah, i was wondering. when i was 9-ish i watched all the time, and i swear the reruns were thirty minutes long.
