To all of you who STILL don't understand how to switch the colors, by switching the colors you have to do the basic chevron then when you get to the middle to join them together you would either do two forward knots or two backwards knots. In this video where the colors are orange (left) blue (right) you DON'T keep the orange on the left when you join, instead you take the orange string with which you were knotting with goes to the right and you keep doing this until the colors are now opposite.

If you thread both then pull them through and tie an overhand knot :) x

That happened to me also in the beginning. The problem is probably that you are not holding the string that you are knotting around straight down while pulling the knotting string tight. You're probably pulling both ends tight. You have to make sure you're holding the base strand straight down while pulling the knotting strand tight.

You have to make sure you made that forward knot in the middle with the two center strings. Maybe you didn't do that part correctly. That's the crucial part. That will connect the two sides so that your bracelet doesn't become two separate bracelets.

Yes you can use yarn it just don't come out that great.just watch the video the chevron and that will tell you how to do it just the only diffrence is you only use 2 colors and that way is how you get the alternating chevron.And the way it stay connected is by knoting it in the middle i hope it helps

Oh, those are just braids. It's really simple to do. All you gotta do is after you finish making the bracelet, separate the strands in half and make a knot. Then braid each section and make another knot at the end of the braid to secure it and that's all. Really easy. :]]
