Actually you can. Through "normal" play, if a club is damaged, it can be replaced as long it's as close as possible to the original, say a sand wedge for a sand wedge. Tigers done this a few times in the past.

@optimusprime2217 Quite easy, these guys usually use a sand wedge, 3 wood or driver. Mostly sand wedge.

He would not be able to use a different club the next tee. The next round, yes, but he can only use one of the original 14 clubs that he started his round with.
