She's actually singing, but we can't hear her live voice, only people that actually attended the show could. We only can hear the playback. If you see some videos recording by fans, you'll see that she sings most songs live, including Crazy 100% live, in one show (i think that it was in LA).
The difference in Britney's on stage persona back then, so free, she's a complete tigress! and really into it. And singing live! Just smashing it up on stage. The Britney of today, whilst I still love her there isn't that same level of ooomph in her performances. It's all very staged, very little interaction with crowd. During the Circus tour, at parts of the show she could have been anywhere. I miss early 00s Britney and hope to see more of her back on top with Femme Fatale :)

no actually it's live. i work at madison square garden as a sound engineer. as someone who has to listen very closely to the meshing of each individual sound in a mix its obvious that this is live. pay attention and you'll notice that she's singing flat (slightly under the correct note) during some parts. if it was prerecorded then the vocals would be perfectly on pitch. and at times her voice is louder and then quiter than the music. that's only happens live.

I only use this because i mix music for a living, there is a program where if you talk to a loud enough in a mic the music playing through the speaker wilchange to your voice,when you stop it goes back to regular music what she has. she sings along to a track and when she takes a breath the voice on the track immediatly takes over
So u dont hear her breath because it isnt loud enough or her voice crack or go out. it is easier to lipsynch when you sing quietly
because jealousy is too hard for them to deal with. Instead of fixing themselves they just hate on her. It's really old. And I love how ppl are always stating "OMG Britney lip syncs" in reference to her newer performances.....um NO SHIT! ALL of her fans are WELL aware. We will still love her no matter what so stfu.
let's just thank them for giving our Pop Princess/Pop Queen more publicity. I think the only reason Britney is lip syncing more than usual is because her record label wants her to be noticed more often. Stupid aren't they? They should know better than to let her lip sync and dance. They know her fans are craving for the voice that left "better" singers than her biting the dust.

Even though it'd be impressive if she sang the songs and danced in her concerts now, it'd be a lot of work. I'd still love to see her in concert just because it's be insane to be in the same room as her :P
You can see why she dont sing live anymore though, in certain places you can hear her high pitched intake of breath that sounds almost like she's hyperventilating. To be honest I'd go watch Britney to see her PERFORM rather than just stand there and sing. If it means I dont get to hear her sing what she sings on the album fine, I'd rather see her dancing and enjoying it.

Even though it'd be impressive if she sang the songs and danced in her concerts now, it'd be a lot of work. I'd still love to see her in concert just because it's be insane to be in the same room as her :P

You can see why she dont sing live anymore though, in certain places you can hear her high pitched intake of breath that sounds almost like she's hyperventilating. To be honest I'd go watch Britney to see her PERFORM rather than just stand there and sing. If it means I dont get to hear her sing what she sings on the album fine, I'd rather see her dancing and enjoying it.

no this is singin live,if u wnt to here it added on that's more the on the zone onyx hotle tour (but again not all the songs are syncing i agree with the others on this one) she lip syncs sumtimes but yeh she has to dance a hell of a lot and is a gr8 perfromer!Also she don't need to go to church lol she is her own person and does what she likes,she hasn't killed ne1 or infact hurt ne1 so i dont think she needs to go to church! she's a magnifcent artitst and everytone gives her way to muchh shit!

Oh dear Lord why do people try to argue Britney's singing--live or not---it doesn't matter what does matter is that her fans have an extremely successful artist who amazes us. This is SO OBVIOUSLY LIP SYCHNED, her live "oohs" and "ahh's" don't match the pitch of her singing verses (I'm a music person so pitch and tone are my forte'). Again, it doesn't matter she is super talented and we should be grateful she is back on her a-game!
