  • it looks so natural

  • @MInibarJG

    Yeah i like that, too.

  • klasse!

  • @Provokateur2

    Vielen Dank. =)

  • Very nice tank !

  • Yes, it's a cool piece of aquascaping work.

  • I'm not a massive fan of Tetra's but i love rummynose tetra's :) Have a shoal of 10 (Bleheri) myself and will double/treble it when my albino bristlenose stop breeding. Remind me to steal their cave lol

  • That's cool, i'd love to see a video of yours.

  • Thanks, not easy though as i have alot of cories and other catfish in there. If one gets spooked it sets a chain reaction off lol. Might put my 4 webcams on the tank again and get live feed or video sometime, i wont spook them that way :)

  • Did you tried to cover yourself with a black blanket?

  • I did try once but not on this tank :) They would look better in my 4ft tank but my 13inch BlackghostKnife would love the tetra's more than me lol :( I'm due to do a rearrangement soon so maybe i'll try after that :)

  • stel thheir cave!

  • There's no need to put in there bigger fish.

This looks great and it is a nice calm tank to watch...

    Greetz

  • It's the second last video of the zoo cologne. I've some new, and way better footage of the zoo duisburg, and i'm going to update the videos of my own tanks.

Thanks for watching and stay tuned. =)

  • all that tank and it only got little fish in it id have something alot biigger than tetras

  • This tank is much bigger than most tanks people have at home, unfortunally many people put fish in those small tanks that grow way to big.

Creating a perfect biotope by not overcrowding it, has it's own advantages.

  • Hi there.

A great video ( as always)

I heard there were some other rummynose tetras as opposed to the true one. How do you tell which one's which?

  • There are three very similar looking species:

    - Hemigrammus bleheri (these ones)

    - Hemigrammus rhodostromus (less contrasty colors)

    - Petitella georgiae (grow a bit bigger)

That's all i know, but i'm sure there are more ichthyological differences. ;)
