Very nice effect but your style and pace, and misuse of terms makes it confusing to follow due to the complex process. Users must review too many times to be clear & even then it's hard due to speedingupand, slllooooowwwwing of your words (cavalier-cowboy-style:), and the incorrect or general terms (using "foreground" and "background", & rushing over steps).

Great technique though. Just my opinion,... to help u appeal to a wider audience.

I only use illustrator for print documents and logo making, where vectors are required, I use PS for everything else web related or otherwise.

wot is diffrence betwwen photosop and illustor?

@haseebhaider2050 photoshop is raster based (pixels) and illustrator is vector based (calculations done by math). photoshop graphics are larger because information for each pixel has to be stored. generally speaking, you don't want to enlarge raster based files more than 20%. vector files are smaller because they don't store pixel information, rather mathematical information and can be infinitely enlarged without loss in quality.

copy paste in front, lock that up, hide it, now copy paste in front, unlock the second layer, and lock and hide the fourth layer. Now, double click the mask and copy paste in front the eleventy layer. Oh and unhide it and apply gradient stroke...

Not the easiest tutorial to follow. Love all your other ones though

That's a really silly comment. Illustrator and PS are totally different. No one should substitute another. Ai is a vector software and PS isn't. Take for instance Ai is for CREATING and PS for EDITING.

FYI: You can in fact apply a gradient to a text layer. Just click add new fill in the appearance panel. You can add as many as you want and stack them up as you wish.

Photoshop is like illustrator but without most of it's tool but photoshop it made of editing and Illustrator is made for illustration
