  • 1st SFOD-D FTW!!! No seriously all the these units are highly trained and have a job to do and they all do a pretty damn fine job at it. I'd say SAS is the best in the world with SFOD-D in 2nd...If you read Inside Delta Force it really shows you only the tip of the ice berg, albeit a bit controversial. DEVGRU is probably close if not on par with 1st SFOD-D but allot of people tend to inflate Navy SEALs more than necessary..I still have lots of respect and admiration for all these units however.

  • SAS are the best, fuck any american fanboys.

  • Compare and contrast this with the Delta Force's fuck-up in Operation Eagle Claw (the USA's attempt to rescue the Iran hostages in 1980)

  • SBS are Tier 1 also.

  • Grow up FFS, all the boys do a great job. I have worked with a few SF lads (international) they are all sound lads.

  • I have always thought "who dares wins" sounds cool but is also wildly inaccurate. It would be more true to say "he who dares is the first to get shot."

  • @WillShakespeare2007 So if I dare pull my gun on you before you pull yours on me, I somehow will get shot after I've already shot you? Your profile name is wildly inaccurate, not the SAS's motto.

  • @2BarKawi - It was a joke - get over yourself.

and my profile name is for some for a Shakespeare film I directed in 2007 that I put up exerts from on my profile. So seems pretty accurate to me.

  • @Darthvader710 Your wrong navy seals operate a tottaly different type of warfare to SAS. The SBS is the equivalent to navy seals.

I thought you were talking about delta force, which was set up entirely to be "like the sas" and were trained by them. Only something like 3% of applicants get accepted to the SAS. It is highly secretive, unlike you americans who have official websites for your SFs.

Seals have nothing on the SBS, delta has nothing on the SAS. You strive to be like them.

  • @andy1992uk Its actually 1% of the applicants only ever make it into the SAS now.

  • say what u want the sas train elite forces all over the world and theres good reason the sas has a remarkable history they set the standards others try to acheive. history doesnt lie navy seals are not trained by the sas but they do learn from them as do any other elite forces in the world they are the bench mark. us and uk public argue like rivals from opposing sports teams but when it comes down to it we both need each other in this cruel world are beliefs remain as 1 FREEDOM and PEACE 2 all

  • @25johnpaul they both train together. SAS never trains the SEALs, they both thrain together. They exchange different techniques. Little change, but let me say, both teams, too raw.

  • You call of duty keyboard generals are poo heads. SAS SEALS DELTA are all Tear 1 teams. Arguing which is better is like arguing what kills you more a shot to the head or shot to the heart.

  • @BroyhillVideo Actually SEAL's Are Tier 3. Not Tier 1. There are only a few KNOWN Tier 1. So maybe you should do some research "Poo head".

  • @EnragedGoat SEALS Are Tier 2 like the Green Berets and 75th Ranger Regiment, Teir 1 is the SAS, Seal Team 6 and Delta Force.

  • @klboi56 You talk out your arse.

It doesn't make a regiment a high tier just because they're better special forces.

Every regiment has different 'License for Action', just because you're a special forces doesn't give you the position to be aloud to respond at any time.

  • @Splaze2k9 I never claimed that they were, but that's just the facts,

  • @EnragedGoat They're considered Tier 2.

  • @holysoks1 Do some research. SEAL Team 6 is Tier 1 , SEAL's (Regular) Is Tier 3.

  • @EnragedGoat Are Seal team 6 not tier 1?

  • @klboi56 Yes, but that's SEAL Team 6 or DevGRU. Not the Regular SEAL's.

  • @BroyhillVideo Actually a shot to the head is much crucial because if you get hit to the heart area, you have split seconds to shoot back if your body is strong enough but it's a too a hard place to get hit anyway... The brain is just hard to hit because of it being so damn small from a range of your opponent would be... Guessing wont be next to you or a sniper from 900 feet ;)

  • @Darthvader710 You know nothing about navy seals, you idiot. The only seal you know about is the plastic baggy which contains your crystal meth, creep!

  • @PestPoisoner lol

  • Donald Sutherland?

  • In the debrief immediately after the event, when the Commanding Police Officer asked if there was anything the SAS wanted to know, there was only one question, from the youngest (& shortest) SAS member, who asked, 'Do you know the score of the Championship Pool Tournament?" (The SAS teams were watching it on TV when they got the go-ahead)

  • who dares wins.

  • I read a book about this.

  • SAS Kill death ratio in Vietnam 50 to 1.

  • @Angusliketheburger The SEAL ratio in Vietnam is 100 kills per SEAL.

  • @invizz0ninja Anyone with a gun can kill 100 unarmed civilians like they done in Vietnam, America lost that war big time even thought the methods they used such as the use of napalm and carpet bombing villages had been internationally outlawed, murdering unarmed civilians is nothing to be proud off. Have the Seals actually ever fought against trained armed soldiers? I doubt it.

  • @Flamorgan Actually the werent unarmed enemies. Stop claiming we kill unarmed people. There was 1 that only happen. Nt the SEAL. N yes they have fought trained armed soldiers. Thats what ucall the enemy. Im proud to be an American b/c i know we fight with pride and with a reason.

  • @invizz0ninja N also i forgot, the reason y we usd napalms was to clear out tunnels in the jungles of Vietnam so we canget the enemy out of the tunnels. N also killing 100 enemies per SEAL is true, and also armed.

  • @invizz0ninja Napalm was totally outlawed which was something that America signed up to, the goverment and the military of the time should have been taken to court for war crimes,. Almost all American troops are just John Wayne wannabes who have very poor training but unlimited access to equipment and ammo, certainly not an elite fighting force but more just a force by greater numbers and highly unskilled by anyones standards.

  • @Flamorgan Partially its true. The only thing we didnt do good in Vietnamwas the training but before Vietnam n after Vietnam the training was good. N no the US force is now a huge military but now with great training. Like last year, the Navy did this training with the English Nay, French Navy, and the Russian Navy. We showed what we do n they show what they do. So ya things r getting bette for training

  • @invizz0ninja The English do not have a navy???? surely you mean the U.K.

  • @Flamorgan Ya I said the U.K. ya i meant British Navy n that was on the top of my head n it was the US Navy. There was some things i forgot.

  • @invizz0ninja Have a google for Lt Col Paddy Blair Mayne, he was a mad Irishman that few have heard of, but was the most highly decorated allied soldier of ww2 and one of the most prominent original members of the SAS. Now thats a real soldier and one crazy fecker that no one would ever cross, a true legend.

  • @Flamorgan I think I heard of his name but thats nice though. My great grandpa was in WWII in the pacific in the army. He was promoted to field major n he brought all his man back alive without dying. He was a hero.

  • @invizz0ninja everyone dont believe anything this guy says, hes a pathalogical liar and his great grandpa was not a war hero, apparently everyone in his family was a war hero... hes lieing.

  • Our Delta Force was patterned after these guys. What a great history the British SF has.

  • Who Dares Wins bitches

  • The world renowned British SAS. after the siege, the media wanted to parade their unit all around the UK, but they said "that's not what we do".

Their my favorite special force unit. they kick terrorist ass in style..

    lolz.

  • The world renowned British SAS. after the siege, the media wanted to parade their unit all around the UK, but they said "that's not what we do".

Their my favorite special force unit. they kick terrorist ass in style..

    lolz.

  • THEE special force, first to use explosive entry , still 20 years later will do it again.

  • Its embarrassing how this small group of Terrorists could take over an American Embassy

  • @FRSFreeState are you an idiot ?! forgien terrorist took over "iranian emnassy" in london not america

  • @PersianRanger

    LOL!

  • Group 1, door ahead, green entry, Move!

  • sas are very efficient (by an italian)

  • by the slimmest of margins the SAS edge out the seals but spetsnaz ftw

  • @ssgkillsuall u serious spetsnaz lolololololol jog on

  • @IIStEEDYII no srry i meant it to look sarcastic no the sas are by far the worlds greatest

  • Please, let's just not compare SOF, okay? :)

  • Makes me proud to be British having the best Special Forces Team In The World >:D

  • With all the terrorists living in England I still have faith in the safety of our country due to the sas

  • Why is it that I every video I find of the military, of any country they get flamed in some way? Either via skill, heritage, nationality, or cause.

    just STFU

Why can't we all just be respectful and honor these guys who saved the lives of innocent hostages. I don't care WTF the UK did 100 years ago or whatever any country did. thats not what this video is about.

  • Happy 30th Anniversary ..

  • What Year is this?

  • 1980

  • Thanks

  • @FrsBigeasy Its ok. 1980, Im sure.

  • @jackatube Thanks for the tip but that line has already been played. Buy some new material.

  • In Information of video: "On April 30th, 1980, six armed Iranian terrorists stormed the Iranian embassy in London, England - capturing 26 hostages inside. Responding"

  • Well Gee I guess I missed that Smart Guy

  • @FrsBigeasy 1980

  • 1980

  • @33Entertainment Thanks for the tip but somebody already shared that as you could probably already see.

  • @FrsBigeasy

    1980 I think, why?

  • @33Entertainment Because it was a big event.

  • @FrsBigeasy So, you're saying you hate democracy? You hate america!

  • @33Entertainment Where you get that idea?

  • FrsBigeasy I have absolutely no idea, I'm an idiot. Are you?

  • @33Entertainment I don't talk to idiots, dam I just talked to you.

  • It's not how they started from what I recall. They were a demolitions team that evolved to encompass different roles, I think.

  • Quite true. Delta is the SAS equivalent. SEALS are more of a combat unit, though they also train for anti-terrorist operations.

  • AGREED

  • never heard of deltex in germany happenned in the 80's SAS trained Delta.

Delta force was set up because the americans realised how good the sas was and wanted to copy it

  • Not entirely correct. Read "Inside Delta Force". It was more the Army's response to the NAVY Seals, who had been in service since the second world war.

  • but delta was constructed almost identicaly to the sas

  • HAHAHA - all these SAS "experts" - wannabees who wish they were part of an elite unit - the best they can do is "correct" others about the SAS - go back to watching Rambo!!!

  • wannabees?! more like being proud of your british heratige and heroes. wtf of you got to be patriotic about? nothing! So why don't YOU go back to watching films from other countries like rambo, you pathetic bastard!

  • @stowej

What fuc'ing heritage you have looting countries and stuffing their wealth, bastards!

  • Your looking at a video of british heratige you thick fuck! Or how about when 388,000 of so-called "bastards" gave their lives to defend the world from facists in WW2 while your country did fuck all! And as for looting, Have you never heard of CAFOD or the Red Cross? Look them up! And I think you'll find thousands of british people are spending christmas protecting a country they shouldn't be in but do the job anyway! So why don't you go back to your little bitch-fight with colombia, dickhead!

  • @stowej

    Thick Fuck! Thats Good one!.

Bastards alright the Brits are just a bunch of looters who looted countries and sucked their wealth. Now every one seemst to " help" via the CAFOD or Red Cross. Even my dog as an RC tag ha ha ha. Get ypur self pumped by a nigger u Brit scum bag!

  • "Brit scum bag" hahaha! I couldn't be more proud of being British; If i were you I'd feel inadequete. I mean who the fuck goes to venezuela? You seem to whine about looting alot, did a British guy loot your mums vagina or something? Mind you, he must have been suicidal to fuck an Aids-infested venezualan slag hahaha! You'll probably get pumped before I do by some colombian soldier (after he's finished with your mum ofcourse) when they invade your shit-stained country hahahaha!

  • @stowej

You dumb fool, I am no Venezuelan, and whats all this thing about moms, I bet your mother got screwed by a big niggar pole along some shitty England street he he he.

Also, I was making a point that your so called heritage is full with robbing, looting and destroying outer counties wealth, religions and the way of life. You ignorant piece of shit, just go and read about histroy and see how ur ppl accumulated their wealth.

  • Whats all this thing about niggers? Destroying religions? Stop talking bullshit! You dont even know what your talking about. I know exactly how my country got its wealth jackass! The British Empire used to cover a 1/4 of the globe, thats where it got its wealth. So exactly what grotty shit-hole ARE you from then?

  • I know what I am talking about. It is you who is ignorant especailly about the history of your country. I agree at one point your so called "Empire" was about 1/4 of the globe. But do you know how it became 1/4th of the globe, your people destroyed other countries culture, religions and sucked all their wealth you ur shit hole. Espeically in the East, ppl were converted into Christianity and most of their native cultures were destroyed. U dump prick read your history first.

  • Does the East look christian-dominated to you dickhead? yeah unfortunately thats soils of war. I dont agree with pillaging a country after conquering it but thats exactly what happens. To be honest its tough shit whats happened in the past. Its not going on now and thats what matters. Seriously, where are you from? I'd love to know what perfect country you come from which makes you such a self-rightous bastard.

  • @stowej

The fact of the matter is that when you sucm bags start barking abt ur so called English "heritage" just keep in mind that it once (and still) thrived on the looted wealth of poor and innocent nations' that were less powerful and developed .

It is a pitty that you ignorant pig thinks that pillaging countries is over and the present is SO very good. Think twice, you dumb fuck! The present day exploitation is more systematic and methodical but its sitll the same old ball game!

  • Comment removed

  • Where are you from thats so perfect? Afghanistan? you think that crashing planes into towers, blowing up buses and killing inocent civilians is good? Grow the fuck up you thick twat.

  • Where I come doesn't matter, but the next time when you bark like a dog talking about British Heritage and ego, think that it was all made by looting poor countries hundreds of years ago and the funny thing is that your ppl are paying with interest now lolz

  • And you think Britain was the only country that did that? a few hundred years ago thats all any country did. every country's aim was to become more powerful and expand their territory, to make themselves richer.

  • U damn fool then did all countries build empires, I will have to come and pumb some of my black cum into ur white brains is that what u want he he he

  • What is your problem? you are so ignorant it's unbearable.

  • When telling the truth its always unbearable you jerk!!! He He He

  • Mate you're arguement is based on nothing but your own opinion. Why don't you go and find out more about what you're talking about before you make an even bigger retard of yourself.

  • What can I say.

    "Move you ass man" LOLz

  • And please learn to speak proper English before you start arguing again.

  • The idea is to annoy the British by inproper usage of Englihs ( mistake) he he he

  • And what problem do you have with the British?

  • Their English muffins that they make now is very bad, and I am pissed off with that. I mean now the Koreans can make better English muffins that the English themselves lolz

  • @vnck25 What an ass

  • Yep, I have a fat black ass.

I bet you have a skinny white shitty ass lolz

  • No, they cant. I assume you dont live in Britain, our muffins are better than your, your, umm, something you can make good.

  • guess you are american then. Delta Force was set up to mirror the SAS in the late 1970s. (Search for Charles Alvin Beckwith). Both Delta Force and the Navy's DEVGRU train with both the british SAS and SBS, the australian SAS, JTF-2, GIGN and GSG9. put the flag down...

  • the SAS trains the SEALS, DELTA FORCE, GSG9, both the Austrailan SAS and New Zealand SAS, as well as several European, Asain and African special operators...

  • the only reason why one of the terrorists survied was because when the SAS grabbed to him go and shoot him a new's helicpoter flew over but anyway apart from that....i think they did a good sorry KICKASS job

  • Sorry but you are incorrect, The only reason he survived was because he ditched his gun and sat amongst the hostages and was evacuated with them, but they always secure the hostages and identify them one at a time.

No doubt they wanted to shoot him but there were reporters everywhere. There is a picture of him being pulled from the hostages at gun point.

    Lucky guy.

  • yeah, a police observer said he heard one of them say 'lets finish him off then' before another one pointed out the camera

  • dont do deals with terrorists just fucking shoot them well done sas did us proud

  • You don't fuck with the SAS

  • I wouldn`t want to be one of them soldiers. To have to go into situations like that dressed as they do - that would encumber their moves and vision. And they are blokes, after all.

Anybody who thinks that these guys enjoyed doing this siege is living in cloud cookoo land.

  • They live for this, they live in those masks and gear for months on end until they become second nature. Could you imagine training for something and never having the chance to do it for real. they love it.

  • they spend their lives training for this, goin out and doing it is why there in the SAS!!1

  • just to say the gear they wear isnt restrictive is designd for combat situations and tactics. secondly they are'nt men their the SAS their much more thn men they are the best SP in the world special fources from around the world base their training on the British SAS. the SAS live for their chance to show wht they can do they train with live rounds there nt guna be scared of a seige

  • Hi bartonrovers. You may be right, but - to my mind - they`re still human beings. I wouldn`t imagine any of them want to die in particular. Anti - flash goggles must restrict all round vision - a handy thing to have when you`re being shot at, don`t you think ?

Don`t get me wrong,I`m not pulling these guys down. On the contrary - I can`t imagine me being prepared to do what they do. They are still men, husbands to women and fathers to children.

  • The anti flash goggle covers aren't particularly restrictive, but you have to bear in mind that the SAS train with them on. I guess the aim of the flash bang is to give you the advantage in the battle, therefore not needing to get into a big firefight.

  • too right m8

  • Not April 30th. May 5th bank holiday monday.

  • word!

  • Too bad the SAS has received so much media hype. It was better when it was more secretive. It gave it more of a mystique.

  • do you know where they are now and what they do? :)

maybe they're in your back tard right now. and a sniper aiming right at you .. uuuu

  • Termonuclear... I kinda doo... There based in hereford train in the brecon hills. There told to do a thirty mile march with no food or water, loads of them die. Trust me I live very close to te brecon hills...

  • I know what you mean, but the media coverage kind of sends a message to everyone. "Do not fuck with us."

  • And they get to do their job more effectively!

All the media coverage on them forces them to tie one hand behind their back.

  • @johnnyponny4 I'm sure there are other units you have never heard of that still have secrecy ..... like Task Force Black

  • @Reece1504 Task Force Black is the SAS and SBS and it is part of Task Force 88

  • @ryantika and TF 88 is the American unit right?

  • @Reece1504 TF 88 is all the units together e.g task force black(sas, sbs) task force blue (american navy seals etc) and so on

  • @johnnyponny4 It still the best

  • LOL America LOL! All he gear no idea.

  • omg wat a dick

  • the real professionials thess Iranian fucking amauters got they what they desrved

  • lmao!!! i fucking hate juggernaut ^_^

  • i read that one of the terrorists had 4 mags emtied into him and the coroner stopped counting at 78 bullets

  • he had juggernaut on haha

  • It was 3 mags, 60 rounds.

  • sure you were mate well done for that one numbnut

  • yeah i was the fourth man in,i still have the trousers might sell them on ebay.buy it now £30.95 lol

  • otozer1993

    Age: 20 sure........

  • otozer1993 ye sure u were the second man in on the iranian embassy raid hav u considered therapy

  • and i had a bong with bin laden and played halo with him

  • According to a book recently written by a former member of the SAS the last count for number of people on the balcony was 15,000.......looked alot less on the news..........fool

  • What people don't realize is the 'Terrorist' group who held the hostages at the Iranian Embassy were not even known in their own country.

They were the equivalent of 'Independence for Cornwall Movement'. They were hardly Al Qaeda; this fact is not talked about now as it spoils the story.

  • Eduardoisland, that's true, but it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to the story. They had the embassy and were holding everyone therein at gunpoint against their will. If they had been Al Qaeda, the results would have been the same.

  • I'm sure the terrorists got a rude awakening when the SAS boys went in.

  • Op Nimrod will go down in history forever. The SAS are legends.

  • iOpener89

You are mistaken about those elements you claim were developed by the US. It was the SAS that developed both HAHO and HALO. As for long range reconaisance, ever heard of the British Long Range Desert Group (formed before the SAS) that operated in the North African desert during WW2? And as for long range combat patrols, what do you think the SAS did during WW2 but operate behind enemy lines (and in the desert that meant long range)??? Get your facts right.

  • OMG whats this obsession of detailed history of the SAS...the only cool thing about SAS and other special forces is what they DO regurarly not what they did 50 years ago

  • denniskv

Are you one of those people who says "never mind about the past" because you know nothing about history? Don't you think it might be useful to know about events that occurred before you were born (and not just about the SAS)? Or are you happy to be ignorant? The world is a very confusing place if you don't know how it came to be the way it is now.

  • even though i actually know a good deal about history....i probably AM one of those people who says " never mind about the past, focus on the future" and im proud of it beacause i think its the right way to think, and you know theres more important history than special forces history

  • why the fuck is ANYBODY bragging about who's best?? Whats the fuckin point?!?! S.A.S are indeed great but S.B.S forces are probably the best by far global. Besides saying what country has the best team is totally immature and they don't give a fuck about that either, its all about getting the job done correctly. Whether you look at delta force, to british royal navy n marines, to S.B.S really the only thing matters is that those units are successful during their missions. Grow the fuck up kids

  • LOL you are an idiot.

You ask: why the fuck is ANYBODY bragging about who's best??

then a sentence later, say:S.A.S are indeed great but S.B.S forces are probably the best by far global.

how about shutting the hell up, eh?

  • you too then as you are saying the s.b.s are the best you are being immature yourself every tactical unit has his stong points and weak points and let us not forget the sas are the fisrt special forces created during desert ops in ww2 so shut it thank you srry pocket didn't see you replied before me ^^

  • You do realise that SAS Air troop specialise in HAHO (High Altitude High Opening) and HALO (Low Opening)right?

  • no no no sas are the best either them or the sbs..yanks....dont make me laugh

  • Bartle do.

  • One of the most successful military operations in history. S.A.S owned that day.!

  • Yeh your right, well in the UK life sentance is up to 25 years, but i think(not positive) they are lowering that =\

    Quite pathetic tbh.

  • i agree with prince...all you uneducated play station babies stop putting the yanks down..blue on blue incidents happen all the time....we are lucky to have a good allies who support our troops from the air 24/7..so stop the sniping or join the army and do the deal

  • Would you chavs please shut the fuck up. As much as the SAS make me proud to be British you guys make me equally ashamed. To our American cousins, I apologise on their behalf. Idiots. Fucking brain dead, lager drinking, embarrassment. Wish I could get the SAS to cull you lot. Then the UK would be great again.
