odd but somewhat compelling song, which I like - the vaguely Old Spanish sound, the air traffic controllers, the feeling of being on the brink - the brink of taking off, of changing one's life, of loss and grief - as if cowboys in the old West confided such things to one another, and so do modern guys in the airport control towers - the future holds many things, apparently, some we can see coming and can't do anything about -
