  • ok, I want this Diana....where I can buy it???

  • @alessandro7p Lomography or check on ebay for better prices it's called "diana+" or the "Diana F+ with flash"

  • where did you get the white flash? i searched for it on the lomography site and on amazon and i cant seem to find it.. also i wanted to ask , what do the color filters do?

  • @alisarqunibi1 the white flash is available at our shop, thirtysix. though, its in singapore. :) the colour filters changes the colour of the flash, therefore, the subject will be splashed with the colour you choose.

  • @8storeytree Is there a site I can order it from?

  • omg you know whats cool! you posted this on march 17! And i got my diana f+ on march 16!! :)

  • @163thea that's good to hear. :D do join our facebook page. :)

  • Question! Does this camera use batteries? Also, when looking through the red screen, I can't see the dots, dashes, or numbers. Is this related to the power source?

  • @azncribbininnj battery is only need for the flash. the camera is analog and does not run on battery. :)

  • @azncribbininnj i had the same problem. don't look through the red window (like you do when you look through the view finder) just look at it and wind the film and squares and dashes, or dots will appear. you my have to wind the film a lot. :) /watch?v=OispKRvjMys from 1.40ish

  • @azncribbininnj Almost all Lomography cameras will be analogue, meaning no batteries, no electricity, no circuitry whatsoever, except for the flash. The numbers through the red screen pertain to the film that is loaded in the camera, perhaps you haven't wound it enough.

  • cool music

  • @bluecheesecow thanks. :D

  • I'm so glad I found this video! I've had a Mr. Pink Diana F+ for almost two years and I never knew how to use it, this video helped me so much, thank you!! Now I'm so excited to use my camera more often :D

  • @panicgirly thanks for the kind words. we're so glad it helped. Do add us on facebook. :P

  • Hi i plan to gift my sister a diana f pkus set for her birthday. Because she have been kinda depressed lately and i thought of encouraging her at this new hobby. How much does it cos for a complete starter set. And i would like to throw in the instant photo thingy. And how much does it cost to develop. We stay in singapore :D

  • @monsiehalides hi, thanks for the interest. you can call or email us at thirtysix, for price equiries. or come drop by our shop, thirtysix. :)

  • Hey @8storeytree ,can you guys still develop films that doesnt have the leader :/ ? i unwind too much.

  • @HaruUnite you're talking about the 35mm film or the 120?

  • @8storeytree the 35mm film.

  • @HaruUnite so as in you rewinded too much, and the leader of the film went into the canister? if that's the case, of cos we can develop those films. That's the way it's 'supposed' to be. :)

  • @8storeytree hahaha.scare me! okay okay :D i'd be heading to develop tomorrow! Price for b/w develop?

  • What does colour filter does ;D ?

  • @HaruUnite The colour filters will give your subject a tint of that colour. :D

  • @8storeytree Gimme website again :P where i can see the difference colour filter difference ;D teehee!

  • Nice video.

My question is, when you advance the film by rotating counter-clockwise, do you have to check the red box in order to see if you are on the next frame or do you know that you're on the next frame once you can't rotate the film anymore? Or does it just keep rotating? (My girlfriend bought me a Diana for my birthday and I have ordered a few films to shoot some pictures, so I wasn't able to shoot anything just yet, hence my question)

  • @akirahans hi, thanks for comments. yep, u'd have to check the red window which will indicate the next frame, and that's where you should stop. frames go in numbers '1', '2'..... '12'.

  • @8storeytree Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. Your response and video are really clear. However I found this hard to understand, because I haven't shot a film yet, waiting for them to arrive in my mailbox! Also, when you load the film, the roll is on the left, and you tighten it on the right. When loading it you have to turn until the film is completely on the right and while shooting and advancing this will go back to the left side and roll up? Or am I wrong. I was a bit confused.

  • @akirahans the films is loaded on the left. shooting and advancing the film will have it roll up on the right. once the film is completed, all the film should be on the right, taken out, and sent for developing. :)

  • i tried to advance the film but instead of the film advancing, the wheel at the top was spinning but the film does not move. and the count in the small window is only at number 18. so is the advance wheel broken or what?i really don't know what to do. and i love my diana f so much, i really don't know what to do.

  • @friskyboom hi, i think you've mistaken. the diana F+ loads with the 120 film (only 12 or 16 shots). are you referring to the diana mini? or the diana F+ with the 35mm back? :) you can see our other videos for other tutorials. :)

  • @8storeytree hi yeah, i have on the 35mm back. do you think it's broken.cause i tried to advance the film but it wouldn't move.but the wheel moves though, just the film inside doesn't.what do you think?

  • @friskyboom hi, which wheel on the top do you mean is still spinning? have the film been loaded properly? There're may be alot of reasons to why the counter doesn't move. It's quite difficult to examine it without physically handling it. It's best to approach your nearest Lomography Embassy in regards to the issue. :)

  • @8storeytree ah well thank anyway :)

  • @friskyboom we'll try to make a video for the 35mm back for the diana soon. :)

  • @8storeytree that'd be great! thanks so much :)

  • @friskyboom video for the 35mm back has been uploaded. :)

  • oh my gosh you made my life so much easier.

  • @sweetolive9 we're glad it helped. :)

  • thank you so much! i was worried about taking the lens off until i saw that grip you were giving it so i realized it must be harder than most of the other videos make it look.

  • @milkyjoethecoconut :D glad it helped. :D

  • hope it helped. :)

  • so helpfully! thank you!

  • thank you so much!

  • oh my god this is JUST what i needed, thank you so much.
