Say i got out of the turorial and i'm at Tatooine, do i have to be a certain level to get to corellia, mustafar, etc? Like.. Will there be mobs there that are too high for my level?
@roman11777 Tatooine, Naboo, and Corellia are the 3 main starting planets that you should be fine visiting. Granted there are high level mobs on all planets but they will be out away from major cities. The other planets might be friendly in some areas and extremely dangerous in others. Just use your tab button to toggle through enemies and look at what color they are to you. If they are red or purple then you'll likely want to stay away. Also if their level is significantly higher than yours.
@louie455 I actually have an episode recorded where I go over my history or game specs that i've used and also show what the game should look like if you have it running at top level.
Now I used to play this. I started shortly after NGE. My computer ran the game fine back then with no lag and quick loads. I think I have about 1.2 gigs of RAM. If I wanted to start playing again, would that be ok?
you'd be better playing this game with at least 2 gigs if you're running windows xp. I'm not sure about settings for windows 7 yet. A really good video card will make the game look a lot better though, something like a 256 video card or better.
Make sure shadows are turned off, and also turn off all flora rendering. These are in options once in the game. Also don't have for distance terrain detail too far away. Also limit the amount of sound the game is handling. These minor things can really improve lag issues if you're machine is having trouble. I might do a video on the things you can do to speed things up
cool, so you pretty much get the best of SWG, and what's with Fraps? i've heard alot about it and have watched a bunch of videos using fraps to record it...
I do but sadly I no longer have the time i once did to play like I would want. Getting married and working full time will do that to a college student. Fraps is used for recording video game play on a computer. It's not the best program to use but I purchased it a long time ago and it's the only easy thing I got to record this game. Other free programs are complicated or cost money.
I used to play this game with only 1gb, later I upgraded that machine to 2gb. Currently I'm on a new machine that has 4gb, also I'm running a 1TB video card with a 2.2 quad processor. I can play the game pretty good with all graphics maxed out including shadows. However when recording these the shadows added cause some lag, so I turn that off and turn down some of the graphics and recording goes very smoothly. I use fraps btw.
hmm.....well i'm sorry to hear that your not able to spend as much time on SWG as you want to, it's an awsome game if you get past some of the updates ^.^
How do you get an instant travel vehicle?

yeah, the updates are done so I gave it a shot, its a bit laggy but nothing that can't be tolerated until I get the funds to upgrade.
