Yasunori Kawahara is simply the most astoundingly accomplished classical bassist I have ever heard. His technique, intonation, execution and interpretation are simply breathtaking. I wish there were more video of him available. This one is maddeningly out of synch. WAY out.

I knew there was a edition of Passione Amarose for bass and violin, just never heard of anyone playing it... till now.
