  • Maple Leaf Rag.. great song for such a morbid theme

  • Ommmmm... >___> tf D:

  • Is this an example of American scholarship?

  • the fuck?? your talking about the bubonic plague and your playing Scott Joplin in the backround?

  • 85 million died

  • 85 million

  • yay!, i guess we could make the black death somewhat funny :D hahahahhaaa

  • whats with the shitty comedy music!?!

  • Finally, some American youngsters laughing at death instead of worrying about it! ;]

  • im recently doing a 7th garde project on this

  • what is this stupid music!

  • ......... Im glad I dont know them

  • What's the piano song being played here?

  • you spoiled kids. Death is not cute.

  • plague is still around

  • so awsome love the humor of it

  • WTF IS THIS MUSIC!! THIS IS FINNY TO YOU! OMG caps lock lol

  • @windson7 one of the songs was "Like a Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan

  • BOB SAGET !!!!!!!!

  • My entire history class and I loved this!! Thank you!!! ^^

  • no way

how disrespectful to put music like that...

  • what a disgrace

  • BRING OUT YA DEAD ! ( monty python) ......LOL

  • and the bodies were buried in mass graves (plague pits) not burned

  • You are right about it being about the plague, but it is 'Atishoo, Atishoo we all fall down' ......... it refers to the flu like symptoms (sneezing etc)

  • ring around the rossies a pocket full of possois ashes ashes we all fall down.

    thats what plague is

  • i thought that was about scarlet fever, not plague.

  • no, i learned ait was about the plague, see.

ring around the rosies- the black rings on your skin

pocket full of posies-they put flowers in their pockets to get rid of the smell

ashes ashes- when they burned them after they die

we all fall down- how much the population went down in countries and cities.

thats how i learned it. it could of benn scarlet fever also but idk

  • im learning about the bubonic plague during the middle ages in my history class right now

    =]

  • me too lol

  • The Maple leaf rag

  • you screwed up the presentation with 20's piano music. A Medieval type of music would make this fantastic- its still a good job

  • It IS kinda hilarious.

  • NearVSMello its not funny the black death killed half of the worlds population. It became so bad that graves were built for poeple who did not die yet but they new they would die anyway its was the wrost pandmic

  • You know I knew all that and I STILL think it's funny. Cause I'm a callous fuck.

  • >and I STILL think it's funny

    This vid not the plague.

  • Why ragtime ? what the hell ? seriously...how sad of a production

  • these videos are awesome, my history teacher actually showed them to all of his classes, they are so funny

    :]

  • hahahaha great video dude "BOB SAGET!!!" tourrettes guy ftw

  • r teacher told it that the mongolians got it first and they luanched the infected bodies at the enemies

  • hehe you catapult probably has the plague too as it does not seem to work like its supposed to :)

  • this is fucking lol

    thanks for making history fun

  • 60 million..yea right it wasnt even close...i did a project on it and studied it.

  • actually, closer estimates put the death toll at 75 million over 1/3 population of humans on earth at the time

  • It was 25 million in over 4 years.

    We're studying it in History.

  • Wait, wait, I thought you were talking about just in Europe, not worldwide.

  • oh srry lolz. But yeah in Europe alone your right 25 M sorry..

wordwide estimates were about 75M, around a third of the world's population- yikes what an impact. We lost another Einstein in that shit =O

  • Really? So did I! It was kind of a project requisite (how do you present well without looking stuff up?). Many sources back my number up, and heck, I'd even take Tynoobi's as reasonable. Maybe your number came from a different estimate. Not too many records were kept during that era, so we can only guess based on averages in populated areas.

  • @Adumbration i think it was rather around 15 million.

  • @Adumbration No dude, he did a project on it once, obviously he is an expert......

  • Comment removed

  • lol this is cute

  • what exactly is cute- 75million deaths? freak

  • this movie is NOT as good as iceberglund's

  • I seem to have developed a crazy love of the bubonic plague..

    AWSOME.
