  • his first song in 4 years

  • Heil Wladyslaw!

  • The truth is most of the Nazis were not bad, just that they all earned a bad reputation due to a few hard core Nazi criminals.

  • Wonderful....

  • I cried watching this scene. The man literally played for his life. Unbelievable.

  • this was my fav part in the movie

the first time i watched this part in the movie it

    made me cry

(besides the other heart breaking parts)

the general was my fav character :D

and the way the guy played the piano :'(

  • i can't wait to meet Wladyslaw In heaven

Thumbs up if you can't too!

  • best choice of actors, bravo!

  • that guard is a beast.

  • i know its chopin, but what song? its so beautiful..

  • @vivisdivisjaja i think its ballade no 1

  • @vivisdivisjaja The song is Chopin - Ballade No.1 Op.23

  • what song is this?

  • that jew found another way of making money though with his book!!! HAHA

  • This is such an incredible scene. It's sad but there are things in it you would only understand if you're a piano player yourself. When it's cold it is almost impossible to play. Your hands turn stiff and you can feel your bones hitting the keys, it hurts. He hasn't touched a piano for over 2 years isn't it? And he plays incredible. Such a well built scene

  • @Omfgwhtavid I hear ya man, I was thinking the exact same thing...

  • this scene itselves is an an antoher ''story" in the heart of the movie.

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE TOO,I WAS READIN ABOUT EASTERN EUROPE ON WIKIPEDIA AND IT REMINDED ME OF THIS MOVIE AND BROUGHT ME HERE.

THE GERMAN OFFICER IS SOOOOOOOO TIRED OF WARRING THAT HE LOVES THE MUSIC,IT'S VERY SOOTHING TO HIS EARS.

  • This scene by itself deserved a prestigious award. It shows that no matter how terrifying the world is, it can all be temporarily forgotten about with music. This specific scene gave me chills. Perfectly directed and acted!

  • Thomas Kretschmann is mindblowingly hot.

  • Love Thomas Kretschmann. :)

  • This scene is so beautifully haunting
