Great show! I have a question for you. I really dug Demo, and from what I've read, Local is great, but I've been really hesitant to check out DMZ. Just seems like it wouldn't be a fun read. A bit close to (non-election year) MSNBC, and I really get plenty of that. Is this a side of Woods' writing that I should just avoid, or is there more to it than I've heard? Thanks!

DMZ tends to be very hit or miss for a lot of people. I myself love it, but I know plenty of people who would disagree with me. Some people think it's a tad bit too realistic, and I can see that. The whole idea of the U.S. having a second Civil War of sorts just fascinates me, and Wood's consistently good story-telling is the reason I pick-up this book every month.

Or check-out Northlanders, his latest comic from Vertigo. It's only a few issues in, and a trade paperback is due sometime soon.
