@Rage1one I think he's wearing hoshun armor which is if i remember right quite light+ a weight pack and he's wearing the buckler which is a under developed shield in the story line he is in now, he can even be wearing lower grade shoulder weapons but i dont remember which grade they are.

You can also get the Hoshun Mk112 by CAPTURING IT.. you get a chance to fight it as an extra enemy wanzer if you get enough platinum medals after you return to Okinawa from the DHZ... but its hell fighting the darn thing...it has 2 repair max and 2 restore max items and the beam does almost 900 damage.. : /

Ahh, good old 1-slot skill spam combos. I never got any melee builds to do it effectively but ROFUP1 was delicious with Ryogo.

rekson builds are always been easy to kill but melee type builds are super HARD! it will take time to kill those bastards till u destroy theyre Left arm or legs

If you have 'grapple' series arms, you can learn double punch 1, so you need dual melee weapons of the same type.

You can get grapple from a USN wanzer.

hoshun Mk112 is available in both storyline.... in emma storyline its at mission 50+ and in alisa i got it in the mission were a blonde girl join kazuki's group and her friend forwarded the site of the AUSPEND/OTHER/AUSTRALIA..... hope this will help....

The piles are frickin awesome. In the into movie for front mission 4, you just see a turbo wanzer with a heavy pile just instantly pwn a german army wanzer in 2 seconds flat. Pile just presses in, an BAM! insta-kill.

my ultimate melee combo is the dennis in a qibing with a shield, and revenge1 x2, shield attack1x2, stun punch and eject punch.

theres a bucket load of variety for melee attacks.

This game is totally underrated. A shame really.... Seems that the majority of people in this world don't know a good game when they see one. Sucks for them because Front Mission 3 is the best game I've ever played. It's even better than Final Fantasy Tactics. YouTube needs more Front Mission 3, so let's so some FM3 uploads people!
