@alvinromanu l4d has achievements and stats, which make it more fun, perks are everywhere they arent anything new or absolutely required, there are multiple perk mods for l4d that you can use on your server.and l4d2 dosent have friends and idiots? imo its easier to get friends n such in l4d. Not to mention killing floor recieves a lot less updates.

@alvinromanu i have played left 4 dead 2 round 500hrs and the simple reson being that there is actually more gamemode than the lame old survival. plus killing floor is only PvE really while l4d offers the versus. And on top of that i have ran server for l4d for 4 months while i have tried killing floor once, but its just such a mess. there is very low modding support for it while l4d has very good sdk and whole crap load of tutorials and guides.

@alvinromanu thats what i just said. for me games are entertainment, but did this game keep me entertained? it could only keep me seated for few weeks while games like dead rising or left 4 dead kept me in for months. im not saying the game is bad but it lacks stuff to do. There is only so many times you can do the same jazz before getting bored.

@alvinromanu the game gets old quickly. its a zombie/specimen shooter which is very unrealistic and you forgot about a whole bunch of unrealistic features such as the healing darts, bloat bile and patriarch, so you cant really call it realistic. they are just factors that make the game feel go up. realistic or not the game is decent shooter with some minor flaws, like the fact that the dedicated server support sucks monkey balls.

but thats just my opinion.

If you weld any doors during the patriarch round, do not plant bombs too close to them or stand near them: he fires rockets at welded doors, and the shockwave will deal damage to players and bombs on both sides.

Pipe bombs are far too costly for anyone other than a demoman, and that handicaps your other weapons and gives you a small amount of resistance to his rockets. Looking at it, the crossbow is far better. Or the M14 if you can get your hands on that.

Personally, I use the MP7 and Crossbow. Pipe bombs are best suited for killing unraged FP's.

I think the content of this vid happens every day. But hey, at least they tried.

Heh, i was with a group of people in the 2 floored mall, what happened is that they tell 1 person (like 10 people in the group) to go forward on the skateboard, but they then don't think of checking the other sides. So i went one time and he just rocket launchered them, and another time they failed at shooting him when i barely missed being pawnched off the skateboard, then i'd die from chaingun fire.

This game is excellent, metascore is known for being shit anyway. GTA4 on PC has a metascore of 90, yet the players rated it an average of 45, and when it came out the players rated it closer to 30. All that matters is how the gamers see it, not what some journalism major who needed a job thinks.

I'm sure most of us will testify that especially after the newest patch, Killing Floor deserves way higher than a low C.

Wasnt hard mode, it was normal. check at 1:05 and you see its not hard. also rocket launchers fail against patriarch, and the katana tactic is retarded. especially in hard or suicidal mode, where he kills you with 1 shot/hit. Learn2Play and get sum skills.

use the hunting shotgun, and the alternative fire button (fires both barells) best weapon to use. And trap him, like go in the church, let him in one door and close it behind him and weld it shut, he cant heal and just gets owned.

i killed him on hard.. never on suicidal though.. cant even ge tup to him.. fucking impossible.. if he runs at a level 5 beserker with a chainsaw then patriarch gets pretty fucked up.... i could see it with my level 4 commando specs.

on hard.. i did it with 3 people in game and we were all level 4+..... wehad a beserker level 4 and when the patriarch ran at him he pulled out his chainsaw and just owned him.... then i threw 5 grenades while he was on his knees and unloaded a clip of level 5 bullpup into him while my friend threw 10 level 5 support grenades and blasted him with 10 rounds of the level 5 shotgun. he died shortly after.. ALSO, on prison,,
