  • I just looove those comments.

Men are afraid of.. what? Women taking their place?

I dont really think they want to acheive that anyway.

Also pointing out that this movie has nothing to do with reality is out of place - it is a work of fiction, and does not attempt to pose as REAL.

A whole bag of symbols and GENERAL tendencies dammit :D

Like a commentary will never be real because it presents an opinion. You may like it or not. End of story.

  • This is fucking fake this is a disgraced to the navy seal who are trying everything to become what they are. In the movie they said 60 percent of them didnt make it actually its around 90 percent of them didnt make it. And if you look at the seal history there are no women ever entered the navy seal

  • Both of these two morons think she actually was a SEAL

  • I really hate that in our society we encourage ladies to be so damn masculine etc etc. Then if a man cries and or does something feminine he is considered "GAY" it is so over the top. I am tired of this double standard and really the most likely females to do this would be the masculine lesbian bull daggers who get off on the attention of trying to be a man how PATHETIC.

  • I would love to lick out Demi Moores dick.

  • Beautiful woman....Total package, great actress ever! Loved this movie.

  • You go girl, this movie inspired me o join. The US NAVY

  • "Serve" is a ridiculous notion. It's a job. A job with risks, to be certain, and fabulous benefits and perquisites.

  • @LisaDubyaNTx Serve = Job. Serve is just a Fancy Military term for Job. If they go with Job it would sound like a Mercenary group is recruiting.

  • i am training to be a navy seal. it is my dream. and from all the research i have done the 6 months of BUD/s and the year and a half of training after that is absolute hell....i would be proud to serve next to anyone, man or woman, who can make it through something like that.

  • all this fighting is ridiculous everyone needs to chill out...

women- stop fighting the men. from what ive read most of the men commenting on this are a bunch of arrogant idiots there is no point fighting someone who is probably just trying to piss you off for entertainment

men- stop being a bunch of assholes. women have died for this country protecting you and will continue to die...FOR YOU. show some respect.

  • As if doing one armed pushups is anything special...

  • Love this movie. But if you think filming this training is rough, hah, try the real deal.

  • i was disturbed to see the horrible comments that we have to clean take care of children. we are put on this earth not to take care of any child . having a child is a choice not an obligation. we can pass out a human being that is something no man cant do. men and woman are created equal thats bullshit we cant even take off our shirts during the summer without it being taking were sluts ... were human beings we should be treated the same way a male should.

  • @gymnasticsolsen nice, now let me see those boobs mami. ohh come on you are not a slut....

  • @gymnasticsolsen -6 months later- I agree part of your comment, but the rest I have something to say; Women can't "pass out a human being" without a man. X and Y chromosome. Men and women are not created equally. Men and women cannot be treated equally, I'm not saying should not be treated equally, but cannot, it's just not possible (Not being sexist, but by nature design). Men and women are the opposite sides of the same coin. One is nothing without the other. This design is to ensure survival

  • @gymnasticsolsen Actually you were put on this planet to reproduce. Its in your genetic make up. Now go back in the kitchen and start making dinner.

  • @Ironpump50 actually what your looking for is a comeback or response your not going to get much of one. and I am calm and not upset cuz I know thats what you want. all I have to say your sexist and one day you will be all alone

  • All i gotta say is that demi is a cradle robber LOL

  • This interview completely ignores the point of the movie. Why is the narrator so impressed that she is able to PRETEND TO BE A SEAL IN A MOVIE? Men go out & ARE ACTUAL SEALS every day. This video expresses a level of awe I might expect if she ACTUALLY WENT THROUGH ANY OF THIS. OOOO she shaved her head… no woman could ever possibly shave her head without crying her eyes out!

  • @jmnthe3rd that all woman join the army air force some even became officers

  • @jmnthe3rd captain major

  • @jmnthe3rd i just bought this movie off amazon for a penny but the shipping&handling is a different story LOL

  • @jmnthe3rd LMAO! PREACH

  • @jmnthe3rd and what about the REAL band of sisters in combat boots every day (like me) HUAH!

  • @Ruthlyn Amen!

  • soo hott in this movie hot little body

  • she is hot/sexy and smart

  • wow demi is amazing!

    as for the chauvinistic

    men that made comments below

    not so amazing. thebluemodonna

should not have wasted her time

talking to someone with the IQ of a brick lol

  • @luckieO7 saying lol makes you look like more of an idiot actually

  • Comment removed

  • @TEADRINKA Hahah, really? You are quite ludicrous. You will stop at nothing to argue even when there is very little argument. I'm sorry if I was rude but your comments are quite off putting!! Showing signs of an unenlightened mind. If you can't see that, you need to seek guidance. Furthermore, you should apologize for being abominably disrespectful to all women, especially TheBlueMadonna! That is my last thought on the matter.
  • @luckieO7 ughh internet girls

  • It's important to notice that if you get the physical differences out of your mind and you are trained specifically to overcome the limitations involved, gender becomes a useless detail.

On the contrary, I believe women see the world differently and their employment in the armed forces of the whole civilized world is a GREAT addition and improvement not just for the armed forces. It's a conquest of mankind that this HUGE movie celebrates.

  • @GShock112 or its just a hollywood film

  • @GShock112 I agree! This comment was a breath of fresh air after I read TEADRINKA's ignorant replies.

  • @TheBlueMadonna just shutup you are some stupid women who doesnt get treated by men fairly because you arent hot and you have to compensate and say you are equal just put a little make up on or act like a girl then maybe you will feel better and stop this bullshit

  • @TEADRINKA Oh! you would know wouldnt you, pull up your panties and admit that your threatened by women. You obviously feel inferior to women so you have to unsuccessfully try to make us feel bad. How about you take some of your own advice, with your girly defensive emotions Im sure you will some man out there very happy. BTW not that its any of your godam business but I am QUITE sexy and it seems that since you lack the qualities of a MAN (ahem, balls) then fit to your stereotype and suck it.

  • @TheBlueMadonna haha oh my god why do we let them out of the kitchen..?

  • @TEADRINKA why is it whenever women have something to say that puts a man in his place they com back witha childish comment about looks...well we know who scores higher on the evolutionary chain of development, grow some balls and take what is rightfully dished out, or cant you take the heat

  • @MissAlbaNuadh no one put a man in his place?

  • he says "mirror" funny

  • I wouldnt allow women in the armed forces because men, have superior physical features enabling them to served thier country better. For crying out loud its a movie so Demi Moore stop acting like you went throught all this "HARDSHIP"!!!!!!!

  • @ForTheHorde1994

Hey, ForTheHorde? I think I speak for many other females here when I say, "SUCK MY DICK!"

  • @ForTheHorde1994 Just Because men have a lot of muscle does NOT mean they can serve the country better than women!

  • @TheBlueMadonna stupid womens rights activists

  • @TEADRINKA stop being such a troll, your embarrassing yourself.

  • @TheBlueMadonna you like anime stfu women fail

  • @TEADRINKA What does that have to do with anything, you stfu since you have nothing important or smart to say.

  • The wanting to be equal area can be quite gray for some people, but it is true that as women if we want equality to men we just have to prove ourselves, but we don't have to become them.

  • I was just really amazed at the fighting....amazing movie really made me think

  • A women SEAL would have just shorter hair, not shaved off.

  • @Oxstayne WHY would she just have shorter hair? I think you all missed her point in the movie by her shaving her head. She wanted to be treated as a equil no more no less. What's so wrong with that? The men in the movie acted like having a period was wrong. But i sure havent heard men complaning when they want to stick there dick in it!! true or false ! but she isnt good enough to fight by there side!!!

  • @Oxstayne Shock value brings people into movie theatres, that's all. I seriously doubt that it takes a headshave for a woman to garner respect from men. The world would be filled with bald chicks were that the case!

  • what's the name of that movie in which a woman is also in training and has to prove something to someone or something like it? great movie too...

  • @cherryemel "girlfight " i think

  • This woman's performance in this movie is amazing. Even if it is far-fetched, she performed her role so very well that one is tend to belief it is really achieveable. But in reality,it's really not so. Women are usually liabilities. You protect them when you have to protect yourself in combact. I have witness that a number of times.

  • @waleadeniji I can testify that aswell, most of the times, they become a liability.. and its because they do not have the same drive to supress pain or strain, in most situations i had to experience i ended up carrying their equipment and in some cases the individual's own weight (you know what i mean).

I did see one, but only one thus far, army trooper in my country that matched most of the unit, but an exception nonetheless...

In no way am i trying to be condescending.

  • Great movie!

  • wow.. really? Sexism i call it. What difference does it make to what your gender is to serve your country!? The movie's protangonist is truly amazing to show that women ARE able to take things men do! Isnt the most important thing about this is how no matter the gender, you can still prove we're equal amon ganything?

  • I don't really get into the whole "women are equal" nonsense. Men and women ARE DIFFERENT and there are things, generally speaking, that women do better than men, and men do better than women.

  • @JosiahSilas

you think ?? IF YOU DONT GET INTO ALL THAT YOU SHOULDNT HAVE LEFT THAT COMMENT! im a woman i got a dick in my dresser drawer that i would bet you anything it's bigger then yours!!! And YES HONEY I CAN USE IT JUST AS GOOD AS YOU CAN PROBBLY BETTER! YOU CAN BEND OVER ILL SHOW YOU !! JUST LIKE SHE DID HIS SMART ASS IN THE MOVIE! I THINK SOME MEN ARE SCARED AND ASSHAMED THAT A WOMAN CAN DO ANYTHING A MAN CAN DO!! GONNA REPOST CANT FIT IT ALL IN..

  • @thumper1214 AND TRY SQUEEZING SOMETHING BIGGER THEN A SOFTBALL OUT THE HEAD OF YOUR DICK THEN COME TALK TO ME! IIT'S REAL EASY TO SIT BACK AND JUDGE! YOU THINK BECAUSE YOU ARE BUILT BIGGER THAT MAKES YOU STRONGER? TELL ME EXACTLY WHAT A MAN IS BETTER AT THEN A WOMAN OR THAT SHE CAN NOT DO? THE KEY WORD IS CAN NOT DO!! OR WHAT A MAN THINKS HE IS BETTER AT!!! HEY GUY'S THIS DOSENT APPLY TO ALL OF YOU JUST THE MALE SHOVENEST ASSES!

  • @thumper1214

You sound like a raving lunatic. I really don't care what's in your dresser drawer, the point I was trying to make was that GENERALLY men and women are wired differently and therefore have different strengths and weaknesses. I don't think that makes me chauvinistic. (which, by the way, is not spelled SHOVENEST) Ideally, men and women compliment each other, which does not mean either one is superior.

  • @thumper1214

The "women are equal" movement came from a culture that treated women unfairly so it opened up a lot of doors and broke down a lot of barriers for women, but it's a bit misleading to just say we're equal.

For all the good that the equal rights movement did, it created a bit of gender confusion in our culture, making women think they had to compete with men or live up to male definitions of success or abilities... which seems to me a bit ironic.

  • @thumper1214

To me, female empowerment means embracing and celebrating the ways women are DIFFERENT from men, not thinking you have to compete or live up to male definitions of success or ability. You're not a man, and that's okay. You don't have to act like one.

  • @JosiahSilas thats right you just have to cook clean and have kids

  • @ShinobiButterfly

Have you ever been through military training with females? On paper it works out, but in real life problems start to occur. I believe women are mentally and emotionally able to handle combat, and I believe men can also fight alongside them. The problem is the physical demands of combat and of the war zone in general. A female POW is much more of a liability than a male POW, we learned this from the J. Lynch episode. Go through military training and see how it works out.

  • You know. My girlfriend is in the military. And she easily made it through while the men were almost fainting.

So the thing isn't completely true.

Though it is true that if a man trains a bit he can hold on longer than a woman who trains a bit. But if the woman trains well and hard, I think, she could surpass many men.

  • @DemonBunn Thank you for taking up for you woman and explaning why you think women can fight in combat. And it isnt like we are in the early 19 hundreds where women where supposed to stay at home, cook, clean, make babies, care for the other kids & whatever else needed to be done.

  • @DemonBunn There is different standards for women. Ex. Men have to run a mile in under 6 min 30 sec, while women have to run it in under 8 minutes. Also women cannot take the load of 50-100 pounds of equipment. On average 45-50% less upper body strength and 25-30% less aerobic capacity.

    PLZ DONT LIE

  • @ForTheHorde1994 women cant do as much as us

  • Is there such a thing as a woman Navy SEAL? Has any woman ever passed Hell Week without the standards being lowered?

  • highwind, women are not allowed to go through seal training. i dont think women are allowed to join any special operations unit in the military

  • Highwind: I don't know if there is such a thing as a female Navy SEAL; however, the cinematography in this movie was INCREDIBLE, and even if it's far-fetched, the story-line was very compelling.

  • (Women are fine in supporting roles, but combat, no way!) ...... how long ago was it that they said the same thing about the Blacks not that long ago i assure you

  • I think it was just USA military propaganda disguised as feminist propaganda to make it less obvious, the whole 'huja' and 'yeah we're the toughest' 'inspired' a BUNCH of young men to join the military or seals.

  • in the second world war women fought

& died on the front line especially in some of the worst & most extream places like Stalingrad & their male counter parts worked with them & died with them & did not stop to blubber over their dead bodies

but got on with what they had to do perhaps we shold learn something from them & do away with this stupid outdated

way of thinking anyone who can take the heat & pull their weight should be allowed to serve their country regardless of gender

  • @Ske11en I COULD NOT HAVE SAID IT BETTER MYSELF!!!!

  • @Ske11en In Russia, it was either take up arms, or be killed or raped. That is NOT the case unless YOUR country is being invaded. Believe me, it was still unbearable for the men in Russia to see their women and children die in front of them, MUCH more so than fellow men. I'm sorry, but your thinking emanates from ivory towers, not real-world experience.

  • @rac717 Whether or not they were forced to fight or volentered is irrelevent they fought & did things that most of 89% of us today wouldnt have the balls or guts or fortitude to do Society tells & brain washes us that women are weak (& yes for the most part men have greater strength) but thats not everything that matters women can have just as much stamina as men & equal fortitude & are for the most part better at multi tasking this is what you want from a soldier especally from a spec ops.

  • @Ske11en My points went right by you, Ske. Our military suffer when it becomes a lab for social experimentation. It's not that no woman can perform physically, but that the men at their sides cannot deal with seeing women having their heads blown off. It's hard enough when it happens to other guys!

  • @Ske11en shutup they are nothing physically and iranians have done studies that show that men ris kthemselves for women and in physical combat men prevail

  • @Ske11en afghanistan pakistan iran somalia lebanon yemen

  • @Ske11en I agree to a certain point, but this movie is just that, a movie, it's Hollywood. I'm not trying to sound sexist, but I have a very hard time believing there's a woman on this planet that could ever make it through BUD/S training. When a BUD/S forms, upwards of 300 men, the most super fit and motivated men in the entire US Navy start training. 6 months later, about 10-20 of them are left standing, the rest didn't make it. That outta tell you how hard real SEAL training is.

  • @DanSVT03 BUD/S class forms***

  • @Ske11en Exactly. I was about to be recruited by the Marines in high school but every job I wanted to do, they told me I was not "allowed" to do simply because I was a female. In Soviet Russia, the female snipers were, I have heard on a number of occasions, better than even the male snipers. Well, their loss I guess. I just would have really loved to do that. I'm 24 now.

  • @Ske11en thank you I appriciate the comment.

  • @Ske11en Pull their weight and then some!

  • I saw some of the movie. Can a woman really fight like that? Maybe I'm naive but I was impressed. Ok, I'm naive.

  • @fireflyzip YES HONEY SOME WOMEN CAN FIGHT LIKE THAT !! EXPECALLY WITH THE RIGHT KIND OF TRANNING. AND THE WAY SHE HEADBUTTED HIS ASS YOU DONT NEED ANY TRANING FOR THAT HONEY!! JUST A HARD ASS HEAD!

  • @thumper1214 I admit I am such a neophyte....I know nothing about fighting so the whole fighting scene kind of made me sick. I really hated the commander but then I began to see where he was coming from. Definitely a hard movie to watch...for me anyway.

  • I don't mind the idea of a women being a seal, but i can't stand them bitching about womens rights 'cause they go over the top with it

  • shes fine but she has a dick :( to bad! lolz (yall shud get the joke if yall saw the movie)

  • Demitria?! lol

  • You did not read what I said, obviously. Men cannot endure seeing women gets their asses shot off. I said nothing about whether some women are physically capable, just that MEN are not emotionally capable of dealing with women by their sides in combat. The military is for destroying things when necessary, not social experimentation, as the Bushes and Obots (like you) seem to think.

  • So because men cannot handle something emotionally, women should be ostracized from a certain profession? Maybe they should just get a grip.

  • Men who love women will never fully "get a grip" on seeing women's bodies ravaged in war. We need men to protect civilization from predators. NEVER will there be an all-female fighting force. Women are fine in supporting roles, but combat, no way! As an aside, what man who doesn't respect women would confer it after the woman shaves her head bald? It's PC silliness.

  • Women DO serve in supporting roles. That's why there are Combat Arms, and women can't branch in them.

And here are some refutes to your argument: as long as they don't tell anyone, gays can serve in the military. If they truly love men, then these male soldiers will not be able to emotionally handle seeing people they love being blown to bits. Yet they continue to serve in combat.

  • VERY TRUE.

  • @amysports15 Well they're the ones who make up 99%+ of the deaths, not you or these mythical strong women we keep hearing about but never see, so your opinion is irrelevant.

  • @amysports15 Women can't even make it through BASIC TRAINING without their own watered down standards, or how about women being in selective service like men, and military jobs without constant sexual harassment claims where male officers can't enforce their authority over females for fear of losing their jobs. Women shouldn't be in the military period, but what you're doing here is putting the cart before the horse. It won't wash, and that's why female spec ops won't happen.

  • This movie was utter leftist, feminist propaganda. The biggest problem with women fighting alongside me is that men cannot view a woman as just another buddy or unit. When a woman gets her brains blown out in combat, the men are devastaed much more than when it happens to another man. You can't repeal biology. Plus, a woman gets respect from men simply by being proud to be a woman. Men seek "otherness" in the women they seek for mates. Few guys want a girl with a manly buzzcut. Yuck.

  • yES, BUT IT WAS FICCION, NOT REALLITY

  • It's fiction that leads people to believe things that can't possibly be true, such as like the nonsense in Brokeback Mountain. Men will never be able to see woman as just another "unit" fighting alongside them. I don't care how strong or competent the woman.

  • Lol feminist propaganda eh? Propaganda Minister Ridley Scott will be sure to send his SA to beat the shit out of you. Don't forget Aliens. Obviously any film with women as soldiers is propaganda.

Don't get me wrong I don't think women are as physically tough as men. But seems like every conservative is calling whatever doesn't conform to their values propaganda these days. You obviously haven't met any real feminists who demand special treatment but at the same time want equality with men.

  • Oh yeah, and nevermind the part where Moore's character says she doesn't want to be a poster boy for women's rights and doesn't give a shit about the politics. Nevermind the movie is anti-lesbian. Leftist my ass.

I realize certain conservatives (not all mostly the religious type) think that exposure to "bad ideas" is propaganda. But if conservatives love personal responsibility so much take personal responsibility for what you watch and don't blame Hollywood for releasing entertaining movies.

  • for 'politicalair', 'amysports' and 'rac717' - please stop airing your views here...no one cares, I just want to watch the freakin movie without being distracted by your (down-right hilarious) posts. One more time - NO ONE CARES what you think...but thanks for the laughs

  • Well back in the day they said it was sin for women to be in combat. In my it makes more sense that as why should not be in combat vs some of the lame excuses they have today.

  • This Hollywood made movie was designed with one point in mind: Encourage American women to enter the Armed Services. The American military is in need of more warm bodies. Hollywood is fantasy, packed with CGI and scripted events. Other propaganda movies with Goldie Hawn, and recently Jessica Simpson have been released with the same results in mind. Make the military appear favorable, and fashionable, to young American women.

  • you know what would be funny if she shaves her head and the camera man forgot to film it :D you have to wait months to do it again

  • Demi Moore is one of the most sexiest-actress of all time!!...

  • RunnaJ is correct, i've heard it was very ugly. and bigdogbutkus, UDT's no longer excist, UDT's are navy SEALs now, all the teams were converted. This is a good movie, but very offensive, and no SEAL appreciated it.

  • awesome film

  • VENTURA WASNT ASEAL JUST A UDT GUY

  • Easy when you sit behing a pc and go on like an arm chair general. Sprint round the block without sweating then come and start passing judgement on another man's achiements.

  • UDTs are SEALs you moron, they changed the name from underwater demolition team to SEa Air Land later

  • The best movie on earth

  • Yes. When I think about it (I am male) it would have been awesome for say a fit, athletic female to watch this. She'd be getting in the car straight to the gym I'd imagine. My favourite part was in the meeting room with the politician and she's like totally ruthless to reach her goal.

  • That movie was such BS. Demi Moore actually had the nerve to show up at the annual SEAL reunion. I guess it was UGLY stuff when Jesse Ventura put her in her place.

  • runnaj i heard about that i was thinking is she out of her damn mind i wish i couldve heard what he said to her

  • she is sooo beautiful :)

  • absolutly love this film! 1 arm push ups wish i could do them!!!!

  • whoa, unforgettable.Thank you for posting this.

  • I Loved This Movie I Watch It All The Time

  • It was nice to hear what Demi had to say. I wonder how much muscle she put on in training. It looked to be about 15-20 lbs.

  • Amazing film!! Love the idea behind, so POSITIVE!!!:D thanks for uploading!!

  • lets see u do them, poon

  • I already do them.
